Solid choice. I'm a fan of anything by foreigner and journey.

I don't have a "favorite song", but I would probably go with some punk song. Misfits, Minor threat, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion, etc.

Can't believe I forgot to mention the Descendents and Operation Ivy.

This is way too hard...

Come On Eileen, Let's Groove, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, New Year's Day, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.

Imagine being in high school in the late 80s... buying this record from high school students in Louisville.. humbling..

Outside of punk and metal, the 80s mostly sucked when it comes to music.

I thought they 80s were great (though I wasn't a big metal fan)...

REM were my Beatles and the Replacements were my Rolling Stones... great years!

Toto had some jams in the late 70s/early 80s. I would lean 70s over 80s in a heartbeat for the most part.

Thinking of how great punk was between 1970-2005, we really need a punk revival.
