Keep in mind we will be missing Bedoya, Jones, and Wood. I think this means we almost have to see Nagbe start. I'm going to burst an aneurysm if Zusi starts.

I texted that to Messi. He won't sleep tonight.

I can understand groans over Wondo and Beckerman, but why Zusi?

Am I the only one who thinks he can still make good moves and take good shots? He's also pretty accurate on set pieces.

Or do you keep Besler at Lb and put Fabs in the midfield?

I bet he beats it to the thought of subbing himself on

With Yedlin back, I don't see Jurgen changing the back line at all.

----------- Deuce -----------
Fabs ---- Nagbe ---- Zardes
--- Bradley -- Beckerman ---
Besler--Brooks--Geoff--Yedlin

This is my preferred starting lineup.

Alternatively if we run a 4-4-2, move Zardes up top and put Nagbe on the wing.

Guzan
Johnson
Cameron
Brooks
Besler
Bradley
Nagbe
Zusi
Yedlin
Zardes
Dempsey

Put Pulisic in for Zusi around the 65th minute.

We don't have Jones, Bedoya, or Wood.

Our subs are Wondo, Castillo, Orozco, Beckerman, Pulisic, Kitchen, and Birnbaum. Yikes.

Pulisic needs to play a major role.

Zusi in for sure, probably Dreads, maybe Nagbe, no Pulisic.

Hope I'm wrong.

Based on his subs so far, I'll bet Zusi starts over Pulisic. The replacements are pretty straightforward:
Beckermann for Jones
Zusi for Bedoya
Nagbe for Wood
Probably means Zardes moves up top. Should be able to stay within a couple of goals!

jurgen is going with old vets and playing a shell/bunker to withstand argentina's attack

he'll sub on offense before he starts offense

I don't see him starting Beckerman in a semi final no one in the world expects him to win. What does he gain by playing defensively?
