Loic plus another legit scorer and we're right back into Europe after next season.

Yeah, NUFC are going to lose better players than they will add...

So delusional.

I will do a permaban bet with you that Newcastle doesn't finish in the 3-5 range.

Y'all are acting like Newcastle has never finished in the top 5

Newsflash idiots we were there last fricking season.

St. James' Park packs in more people than any of your teams save 2 and our owner is worth 1.7 billion, all we have to do is make a few smart moves for a change and we're right up there with most anybody. But go on thinking we're Reading or Southampton you ignorant fricks

And you wonder why I have no respect for most of you

Robben doesn't want to leave, he's said as much in interviews, so it will have to be a place that he really likes which rules out shitty arse places in Russia or Turkey IMO.
Latest word is Napoli are in for Gomez, we'll have to see if the bid actually comes to fruition.

Doubt anything serious will come for a while from Napoli since they're most likely about to have huge turnover in the entire upper managerial staff with Mazzarri almost certainly leaving.

With the crazy money they'll get from Cavani, I imagine they will go after a decent replacement but much will depend on new manager and directors.

Eriksen has been pimping BVB in the media a lot lately, also looks like de Bruyne is headed there as well. All reports are that Schürrle is finalizing personals with Chelsea so that could lessen their demand for a Robben type. I'm sure he is capable of playing alone up top, but Kießling is pretty fricking good so he doesn't really play there, he's definitely a winger.

I wouldn't permabet anything but if NUFC signs 2 legit strikers I will go a 1 month soccer board ban bet that we qualify for the Europa.

He's just such a static player that it really limits his potential destinations, granted he's very good at what he does, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a pure poacher.

Last year was the first season since 2005 that Newcastle even made the top 10.

Newcastle is not a relevant club, and haven't been since a decade ago.

So take my bet if it's such a lock.

Also, in the last ten years, Newcastle has finished in the top half of the table 3 times.

And we're all torn up about it.

Massively irrelevant.

No way Newcastle finishes Top 5 next season. They have a lot more problems than a French goalscorer or two can fix. You guys overachieved last year big time and it showed this year...there's a reason they've consistently been a bottom-half team (or in the Championship) for the past few years.

ETA: Man, no permaban. I was feeling pretty good.

ETA2: What's this?

That would be coming in fifth, winning FA or Capital One. Hmm. I'd still take that bet, but I doubt Newcastle is going to sign two strikers this summer.

Like I said, we will qualify for the Europa again if we sign 2 legit strikers. I will take 1 month soccer board ban bet with any of you clowns who think you know all about my team even though you probably haven't seen us play more than once or twice.

I'll gladly take it, I offered it - but how about half a season?
