Between that red that wasn’t a red, the non offsides offside goal called back, and Jotas nom existent first yellow…..I don’t even know what to say.

I feel bad for Matip there... proud of the effort by the team...

I did not think that was a straight red, but I get its debatable... Jota's second yellow was just dumb, regardless if the first was questionable... but that offside is unforgivable... its not even particularly close..

Whatever, we'll be alright...

They are already stating the Diaz goal was an actual goal. Just a joke of a league

Even if it was offsides, VAR has to at least draw the lines. The fact a decision that close took less than 30 seconds to review is wild.

PGMOL already issued a statement saying they made a mistake on the Diaz goal and it should have been awarded.

Un.fricking.Believable.

It’s not even that far fetched at this point to question whether somebody got paid off.

People have to be held responsible or it’ll just keep happening every weekend

yeah, they spend 5 minutes contemplating if someone was on or off by a blade of grass, but this didnt even warrant a check? frick off... Darren England should never be in the VAR booth again.. incompetent!

No they don’t. Got done hard by shite refereeing.

look, i agree that was some of the absolute worst officiating, including replay, that i've ever seen...

but the more we get, the more of a rep we get, even if unjustified... just makes it that much harder to get calls down the stretch, especially if it's close...

just saying, it's something we need to work to fix, but i'm proud of them today, even in defeat... the position they were put in and to fight hard and almost come away with a point, proud of them.... of course it helps that Man City also lost, so we aren't in any worse shape than before definitely helps, but still... i'd normally be bitching about the 1 point, but not today

The 1st red was 50/50. The 2nd is clear. The VAR ruling of Diaz goal is inexcusable; point blank. Someone needs to be held accountable.

It gets even worse! The VAR official thought it was a goal on the field and that’s why they didn’t replay it!!

absolutely... look, that alone didn't lose this game, but if that goal stands its 1-0 going into the half, and the 2nd half plays way different, with personnel groupings, strategy, etc.... likely 2nd red never occurs....

it really, really needs to be more than just "we're sorry we messed up"

That VAR decision on the offside was shameful

But the Jones sending off is a 100% red card

Ask anyone who played the game you can’t tackle over the ball like that into someone

It’s dangerous as frick, especially doing it studs up
