Fab listed as a defender... Not sure how I feel about that

Did anyone expect our players to play their normal position?

Wondo has never been anything but terrible for the national team.

I have to disagree with you on this as well. While I am not a great fan of Wondolowski, he has 10 goals in 30 appearances for the USMNT. So to say that he has never been anything but terrible is incorrect.

Wondolowski's two international goals in non friendlies were in a 6-1 win against Belize in the gold cup, and a 4-1 win against Cuba in the gold cup. This from a guy who's entire career is based off being a pure fox in the box 9.

Ok to be fair I haven't seen chandler play a ton, but I just knew he was playing a lot. The only reason that makes sense then is he's going to play Fab at left back. Birnbaum, Orozco, and Chandler all theoretically play multiple positions across the back line.

Guzan > Howard?
I don't have a problem with that. Honestly wouldn't care if Horvath started every match.

We can agree to disagree about Howard, but that's a much closer call than Wondo over Morris.

Happy about Horvath though.

I just realized we have no natural left backs on this team. Guess Johnson is playing left back for the entire tournament. Not sure what we do if he gets injured (and he has been injured lately with a groin issue).

Beckerman but no Williams?

Excellent, he is the best LB option. The dropoff at left-mid is substantially less than the dropoff at LB when Johnson isn't in.

Bradley, Bedoya, Jones, Pulisic midfield is glorious. Especially when you have Johnson and yedlin getting up the wings. CB just have to be disciplined.

Sadly, I think this is why Chandler was brought in.

Wondo has no business ever being called up to the USMNT again.

I would rather we play Cameron there but not bring Gonzo means we probably can't play Cameron at defensive midfield. Kitchen is a good player but completely unproven at this level.

Just play all the younger players. This tournament is an exhibition anyways.

I'm not even sure Chandler was playing a lot this season. Thought I saw not long ago he was struggling for minutes
