Someone just whiffed on a possible goal.

Josh Sargent is the most impressive player on the field for me. His movement is great, he has size and fantastic touch (think Zlatan), is incredibly smart in his decision making and using his frame to block out opposing players, and knows when to pass and when to shoot. We haven't seen it this game but his finishing is also on point. He's not a Pulisic but Sargent is damn talented.
Glad has done well in defense and going forward I think.
Lennon is generally threatening and provides a lot of energy.
Adams has been really good in closing down space and reading the game. I feel like a lot of the play down the middle runs through him. I wish we had the personnel this game to allow him to play the 8 role instead of the 6.
Our centerbacks have been solid and have mopped things up when the outside backs slipped up.

He reminds me of Bobby Wood, which is a hell of a compliment for a 17 year old kid.
He was given credit for the goal, too.

Is it crazy to say that I'd love to see him continue his run of tournaments and get to play in the gold cup? We play some pretty terrible teams in the group stage that I think he'd score against

Wow, absolutely no recovery by the defenders and midfielders on the left side of the field

Has anyone asked Ebobisse how to pronounce his name? Every time I see one of his games, they pronounce it differently.

Ebobisse has not impressed me.

Acosta and de la torre need to track back more on the left side. All these NZ counters are very avoidable

Fabulous by Lennon.
What a chip to get it to him.

That was fantastic by Lennon.

Can we take these kids to the gold cup?
Posted on 6/1/17 at 7:22 am to cwil177
This isn't even a full strength squad, jeez
Posted on 6/1/17 at 7:23 am to americanoutlaw
Alright Tab let's start rotating.

Who made the pass to Lennon on his goal? Was it Tyler Adams? That was a great ball.
