No surprise, but looks like Benny's door is officially shut. Klinsi must reallyyyy not like him.

Mildly surprised Gedion Zelalem won't be at Gold Cup. Could have been cap-tied. Remember, he didn't file a 1-time switch to play for US U20.

While I know Davis isn't a popular guy, he's playing really well this year and I'm happy for him to be rewarded with a temporary spot.

Quick gold cup question: does the winner qualify for confederations cup in Russia? Or is that the next gold cup?

If the US wins, they qualify for Confed Cup... If anyone else wins it, they have to play the US in a 2 leg playoff for the right to go to the Confed Cup.

Brad Davis makes this roster but not MLS assist leader Benny Feilhaber.

You're higher than giraffe p if you don't think Brek Shea is part of the 23.

Move the Gold Cup to Europe. We need the home pitch advantage.

Feilhaber should have definitely made over 4 or 5 guys. Wonder what happened. :-/

Williams left off roster because he has chronic knee issues and needs a rest.
