This team is showing that the U.S. just needed TO GET THROUGH ONE MORE FREAKING CYCLE AND QUALIFY to be in better shape for the future. The young talent is there.

They were also probably in the easiest group. Don't let this win get to our heads. We are about to be tested.

Of course we're about to be tested more. But it's hard to downplay a 5-0 win in the knockout stages of any competition.

I hope we didn't blow our load in this match. I've seen it too many times. Score 5 goals in 1 game then 0 in the next.

Oh I know. Just trying to temper expectations. Just because Paraguay did great in group play doesn't make beating them soundly some amazing feat. 5-0 is impressive for sure though.
