I'll take the W.

Decent match. Good to at least win one this go-around, but should have had a couple more goals.
Some great performances (Tall and Hyndman) and some frustrating ones (Acosta and Miazga). Lot of average everywhere else. Would love to see some improvement in defending set pieces.
Three points is big, though, because the other two teams in the group drew the first match. Keep moving forward.

Thought we were really good for about a 40 minutes stretch. The rest was bleh.
Fullbacks need to be much better

Hard fought win, albeit an average performance.
It's always tough to come out swingin' and ignore the nerves though. They definitely settled in and got the 3 points against a scrappy squad, so that was good to see.

I can breathe again. That Myanmar team moved the ball better than I was expecting to.

Yeah, they were tough to defend at times. Decent team. Had some talented players

Yeah, I think that surprises like that are less common at this level, but they had to qualify, and I felt like all of them had 20+ appearances at the u20 level from what the announcer was saying
Don't know if I'm correct, but I feel like our MLS-based players are starting to break through earlier, and I think that that definitely helps at this level, and will help later on as they pass through the setup.
Players like Hyndman and Sonora can get involved more when we have players like Acosta, Delgado and Miazga who are relatively experienced and will start going in hard when a team like Myanmar comes out aggressively. Of course, someone like Rubin just does his own damn dirty work
Gives the U20 legitimate options off the bench, too. Zelalem was obviously an option off of the bench, but he doesn't count. Dude's ability to pick the ball up in shitty areas and put Myanmar in trouble was ridiculous.

His vision and understanding of the flow of a match is remarkable.

I still think of Tab as a high school scoring machine.

Mali scored a pair of late 10-on-9 goals after the Mexico GK got shown the red card and pulled off the upset 2-0
