Watched the match late last night.

Holtby was very good distributing the ball. I still like Gylfi over Dembele in a starting line-up, he just seems much more aggressive. Eriksen's goal was

Agreed, Gylfi over Dembele. Dembele will just end up injured anyway. We are a different team with Erikson. Bale is a great talent but this team is better than last years team, and I don't really think its even close.

I want Paulinho Eriksen and Sandro to start in the middle. Maybe Dembele instead of Sandro. Siggy on the left and Townsend on the right. Bring on Lamela in the 70th and keep working him in these Europa games to get some chemistry. Having this depth to work with is awesome it's so nice not playing our starters twice a week.

Eriksen is classE

The commentator was saying holtby is unhappy as well as Defoe. So who do y'all think are possibly transfers or loan outs in the January window ?

I don't see defoe going anywhere unless we pull in another striker first.

Longtime lurker here. Been following the Spurs for a couple of seasons now and this is the first time I've managed to catch every game. (Thanks NBC!)

Excited about the possibilities of our team this year. Eriksen is ridic. I like what Lamela has to offer over Townsend. His vision is higher, and he isn't just thinking "rip a shot from 25 feet" with my left foot.

Two years and you still say "the Spurs." It's just Spurs.

How about Lamela over Lennon. Townsend has been great for us this year, and a nice surprise.

I main issue with Townsend is the amount that he shoots. Great pace and play on the wing, but he loves taking it upon himself to cut inside and shoot.

Agreed. With the personnel we have, I think we'd be better suited to have wingers that are looking to pass and create chances rather than shoot every time they get a little bit of space.

Agree about Townsemd the last few matches. Cutting inside with his head down. No thought of a pass through the back line. Missing Rose today too. Naughton not looking the same level the first half as Rose has been playing of late.
