What a shitty year.
Our 7 summer signings:
Soldado - bust
Lamela - may not be alive
Capoue - good but hasn't seen the field
Paulinho - solid. Could be great here.
Chadli - overrated
Chiriches - solid. I think he will be a good one.
Eriksen - future legend. Thank God.
So much for a great team this year. Bale left, and we didn't replace him with much.

This was my 1st year really keeping up with EPL and I choose Spurs! Times this year I wondered if it was the right choice :) I was frustrated quite a bit but I feel in the long run I made a wise choice. Being a saints fan I know how sweet it is to go from bad to good and I'm looking forward to that day with Spurs! COYS!!!

If you hung on through this season you are stuck for life!
I can't wait for the new regime to come in and add some stability (hopefully)!

Ledley King gets his own quote at Lane
----------
Despite the hate that Levy gets for being a bit of a penny counter, miser, etc. Spurs have continued to trend upward with him as chairman. Hopefully with some consistency in the manager position we can break into the top 4 in the future. Obviously our squad needs help in certain positions as well and hopefully we can find the pieces we need.
Spurs since Levy took over:

I hopeful that whomever we get, be it de Boer or Poccetinho, is able to integrate Lamela into a system that suits him. With Lamela and Eriksen, I think we could be lethal. But we need the right man in charge.

I agree completely. Lamela has too much potential and we spent way too much money on him to have him wither on the bench until we inevitably sell him.

I don't really blame anyone for him not playing much. With the injury, I preferred him resting and getting as healthy as possible for NEXT season. Hopefully this time gives him a chance to acclimate and gel with his teammates. Maybe it even results in a growing hunger to perform once he finally does hit the pitch.

Sherwood officially out.
And there was much rejoicing in the land.
In all honesty though, he did pretty well with the situation he was given. His downfall, in my opinion, was that he was too loyal to some players.

Honestly, I'm impressed he did as well as he did. Just frustratingly inconsistent.

Just looking through some of the rumors listed on Fox Soccer's website, these items from yesterday caught my eye:
I'm curious as to which stars reportedly forced Levy's hand...Lloris? Vertonghen? Soldado?
And, from today:
Anyone think the £3 million per year or the personal £2 million buy out would be too much for a deal to happen? I'm thinking de Boer would probably want close to the £3 mil per year also, if not more.

Rumours are that pochettino is close to signing an extension with the saints. If this is true you'd have to think de boer is next up, unless there's some yet to be named manager in secret talks with levy.
Either way, I believe levy has someone in mind and I think we will be happy with whoever we sign. Although I'd prefer sooner than later.
