Top Fox markets thru 3 #USA games:

1 STL
2 DC
3 Milw & Richmond
5 Baltimore & Hartford
7 KC
8 Prov., ATL, Dayton, NY, Norfolk, Portland

Not shocked at St.Louis, they broke the record for biggest crowd for a US womens friendly, when they played at Busch Stadium. And a lot of good womens soccer and teams in area. Shocked Kc isn't higher

Maybe if your city would stop jerking off to the cardinals so much, the MLS would give you a team. Garber clearly wants to, and you haven't given a reason to.

I get that you are a KC douche bag but really man? The Cardinals dont have a thing to do with MLS not being in St Louis.

St. Louis isn't getting a team because there is no ownership group stepping up to the plate. No other reason. Cardinals? Uh, ok.

Absolutely correct, there were ownership groups but just none that are willing to drop 300 million plus on a soccer specific stadium in the past. There will be MLS in st louis soon. Either at the new riverfront stadium for the rams or if the Rams move there are good rumors of a SSS being built by an already lined up ownership group that met with Garber last month in St Louis behind closed doors.

Some people from KC have a serious "little brother" complex in regards to St Louis.

Well, like 2018-20 "Soon".

An expansion team could be awarded before that once ducks are in a row and a) the riverfront stadium for the Rams has broke ground or b) Lock tight guarantees of SS Stadium being built upon awarding of expansion club.

Forgive my ignorance, but why is it so important for St. Louis to have an MLS team? More of a Midwest presence for the league or something? Surely if there were enough interest from the people there, it would have happened by now right? MLS has several clubs that are located in way less attractive soccer markets. Why hasn't it happened yet?

St. Louis has a great soccer culture. When I lived there I could find pickup games all around the city. It was great. Lots of people really excited about soccer. Sports is one thing that town does right. Stl had one of the oldest leagues in the nation and SLU has a good team usually. I didn't like living there but the soccer culture made it bearable for me.

St. Louis is full on behind the cards...and the Blues too I guess. They have neglected the Rams, and thus, Stan Kroenke is preparing to move the team. With results like that, of course ownership would be wary of dropping a sizable investment on a MLS team that might not get the support.

It's not a little brother thing, its the facts of business. If I'm a businessman, I'm sure as heck not putting 300 million into the St. Louis market that doesn't support 3 big teams.

It is a cause and effect type of thing. Because St. Louis has shown that they don't support the Rams, ownership groups are wary to invest. My pointing out the support for the cardinals was simply showing that it is possible for the city to support pro teams, just that they choose not to (rams).

You're a fricking idiot. The only reason the Rams have problems is because they haven't had a winning season in 13 years and had a period where they had the worst 7 years stretch of any NFL franchise in histroy, and the support they have given the performance on the field is pretty good. Its interesting watching a KC person be so critical and come to such conclusions given the Royals lack of support under similar circumstances.

Yes, yes it is. You dont have a clue what you are talking about and knee jerk to typical little brother KC digs on St Louis. Its predictable and typical for you.
