Dele didn't have his best game today

No he did not. Way too indecisive in good spots, should have shot the ball first time a few times also.

That being said, he still had 2 assists and worked hard defensively.

Tomorrow is huge. It's going to be difficult with Eriksen, Dele, and Vertonghen out, not to mention the continued absence of Dembele, Rose, Wanyama, and Lamela. Do we try to play 3 CBs with Foyth in Vertonghen's spot?

Maybe switch Winks and Sissoko but that looks about right.
Our hand is kind of forced with this game.

Think this game will be more of a dogfight than people want to admit.

Tomorrow is a game we really can’t drop. Gotta beat the worst team in the group. No excuses. If we are scoreless at half, I would like to move Kane to the Eriksen role and Son up top.

Just saying, APOEL held Barca to a 1-0 game not long ago.

Yes. In 2014. When Barca slept through the game and then went to Cyprus and stomped them 4-0. Because that’s what champions do.

APOEL is capable of drawing and even beating us tomorrow. Just look at our CL performance last year. I’m definitely nervous. A loss tomorrow would be a significant blow and would completely negate our Dortmund win.

Lloris (C), Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Aurier, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Son, Kane

Wouldn't mind having Wimmer back right about now...

There is zero creativity without Dele and Eriksen. Not sure where a goal is going to come from today.

Well, Harry Kane of course.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming Madrid beats APOEL away and Dortmund at home, we basically either need to 1) beat APOEL at home and win, draw, or lose by one goal at Dortmund; or 2) beat APOEL at home and get points off Madrid.

With 4 games left, I don't even want to start thinking about this, but that sounds right.

Real Madrid will likely beat us twice. And Dortmund on the road is going to be really tough. We need to find points in those three games and beat APOEL again. The disaster scenario is that Dortmund beats Real Madrid next time, and they beat us. Then we could be looking out unless we beat Real Madrid once.

Been a Spurs fan too long to not just accept disappointment. I'm not doing that math until the last day of the group stage

At the point where I think Alli needs some time on the bench and Son deserves a run in the team.

Alli has been poor as of late compared to usual.

I thought he played better today from the little I saw. At least his distribution was better and I believe he started several of the runs that we ended up scoring on. But overall I agree, he hasn't quite been himself.

So being that Dele got booked for diving (correctly so), does this mean he will also be banned a few games?
I know there's a new rule in place this year.
