Don't look now, but Dortmund are tied with APOEL

Huge result today and special thanks to APOEL for holding Dortmund to a point.

Crazy that Eriksen was the worst player on the park today, too.

So realistically, a home win vs APOEL should put us through. Regardless of the BD and RM matches.

Figure out a way to draw at home against RM, and winning the group isn't out of the question.

Yep. We also get Dele back for the rest of the group matches, not to mention Rose and Davies. If Lamela, Dembele, and Wanyama heal up and come into form soon, this team will be DEEP at just the right time.

Great result today on the road in a tough place to play against the defending champions.

Llorris played the best game for him in a while and kept us in it. Also with all the pressure the back line deserves some credit. Alderweireld, Aurier and Vertongen played great.

Seeing Rose back out there was nice too. He looked fast as usual.

What a brave performance today!
11 lions on that pitch.

Couldn't ask for more. Missing starting LB, and both starting CM's and missing Dele. Go on the road to RM, and draw them, when we had chances to win the game (they did too, ik).

This will be massive mentally for the team going forward. If we can do what we did today, then we can beat anyone.

WE WANT BAMA!

That was so much more fun than spending 90 minutes trying to break down some shite team's 8-man back line in Wembley.

Man, this is such a feeling of elation.

All the injuries, and we performed how we did.

All rise for Liverpool Sunday, lets keep this train a rollin'.

Caught the game late last night. What a performance by our guys.

Modric did not get the memo that he's on our side! Dude was terrifying!

That 3rd goal is yuuuuge.

Liverpool were looking threatening and with our pension for draws at home, that Dele goal could be useful.

Yeah that was big. This match feels very similar to Dortmund. Pochettino has adjusted from the high pressing style due to the bigger pitch at Wembley. Absorbing the pressure, trusting the defense, and using our attacking players to catch them off on the counter.

Also starting Aurier on the left to match Salah’s pace is working well thus far.
