the two clubs i enjoy watching the most are playing each other today. i'm torn. i really only support tottenham, but i'm a fan of dortmund because of pulisic. so i guess i'm hoping for a 3-2 win for tottenham, with christian scoring dortmund's 2 goals.

i've been trying to imagine all day what it must feel like for an 18 year old to start (at least i think he is) in a champions leage matchup against a big english club at wembley. amazing.

While I completely understand where you're coming from, didn't he play against Madrid at the Bernabeu last year?

Pulisic has ice water in his veins. This stuff just doesn't phase him.

No that's about right.
With Alli suspended and Lamela, Rose, and Wanyama injured we don't have much choice.

Yeah, this is a very strong lineup for us.

Dier playing the destroyer role, Dembele carrying the water from D to attack & Kane/Son/Eriksen the trident of attack.

Besting Dortmund in first round of CL in the group of death in Wembley. It don't get no better than today.

Great performance by the whole side. That was fun to watch. COYS

Yep, great result today. And, if we're going to lose Vertonghen to a stupid red, at least the next match is vs APOEL.

All i'm saying is that we have a longer streak of not making the CL quarterfinals than APOEL...

You simply cannot overstate how big of a win this was tonight!

The lads played great, titanic effort from all.

We are so blessed to have Harry fricking Kane.

For those of you who didn't get to catch the match today or are a freak like me, Fox Sports 1 is airing a replay in 15 minutes @ 9pm CST.

I'll be tuning into the 2nd half.
Thanks for the heads up

Also, I learned today that Son's nickname while in the Bundesliga was "Bee-Keeper" because he always scored against BvB

Apparently I wasn't the only one confused as to whether Jan was sent off on a straight red or second yellow. Spurs needed clarification as well that it was, in fact, a second yellow. So he's only out for the match vs APOEL.

The US broadcast was pretty terrible at showing that as a second yellow every angle was just of the red being shown. Thank God it's only APOEL and not 3 matches or Real Madrid.

That was an INCREDIBLE game I'm still pumped. Few thoughts after watching it again:

- Sanchez has slid in seamlessly with Jan and Toby
- Aurier looks like the real deal
- Son is fast as frick and has that confidence to take on defenders that an attacker needs
- Kane is Kane. Same with Eriksen
- Poch got it exactly right. Let them have possession and countered. Hopefully they set up that way when we play Liverpool. I still have nightmares of Mane against Davies with a high line
- Davies was great all game
- We actually have a bench. Once Lamela and Rose are healthy it will be even better
