I'm beyond pissed. I'm going to chalk it up to early-season crap. That was fricking embarrassing.

I don't want this to be the last time we had a full-fledged European season where we had nothing left for league play.

Wasteful in the opener against Villa, and then plain awful against Wolves. WPS is better than Wolves.

Wonder if the rumors about the anti-Jol movement in the locker room are true.

I'd hate to see that.

Yeah it wouldn't shock me at all. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the Jol hire. But I have no idea what we would have done otherwise.

We gotta find a manager for more than one damn season.

I'm not looking forward to Saturday. I've turned into a big time pessimist in a hurry. I know its early, etc, etc. But not once this whole time under Jol have we looked good IMO. The closest was against Dnipro.

Senderos hasn't done anything that bad in two Premiership games (actually he was far and away better than Brede Saturday who was beyond fricking useless) but I still don't know why you would break up Hangeland and Hughes. I hate having Hughes as a right back.

Dembele still isn't really fit and ready to play. Andy Johnson just isn't very good.

We were all over the place formation wise Saturday at times.

I'll watch Saturday but not expecting much. Granted I felt somewhat similarly last year when we went to Stoke and won 2-0 and that kind of turned the season around.

Tactically speaking, I get the Hughes move to right back if Riise is going to be overlapping on the left. It's all contingent on Riise's motor, though, and if he's not on, we get rigid. Unfortunately, I don't think Hughes is used to the angles from wide positions (that's what she said).

Minus Zamora we still lack offensive punch. A.J. is worthless without him, and the onus turns to Dempsey and Duff exclusively in the attacking third. If they aren't perfect, we falter.

Not a fan of Senderos/Hangeland combo at center back. I like Riise a lot...Roma was on TV a lot last year and he will eventually become a very nice pick up and score some screamers in due time.

We really really lack a quality scorer to compliment Zamora.

Technically, the passing has been sloppy less a few moments in the opener against Villa. Deuce seems a bit out of touch as well. Kasami looked shite.

And I agree with the sentiments that Hughes/Hangeland shouldn't have been broken up. I guess that exposes the glaring wingback problem we have always have over the last few years.

According to news in Rome, Fulham will make an offer for Marco Borriello.

You would figure these old farts on our team would start out fast and as the season wore on, we would come down a bit.

Dempsey needs to go up top IMO, Simon Davies out wide (when healthy).

Oh, and take a flier on Raul from Schaulke next year.

Wolves > Fulham

Fletcher, Doyle, and Jarvis will lead the Wolves to make a run at the top half of the table.

How about since you are so sure, then we have odds? 10000:1 sounds fair to me. I will mail you a penny if Fulham finishes ahead in the table, and Wolverhampton finishes ahead in the table, then you owe me $100. Deal?

What's the reasoning for pulling Zamora out of both games so far? Does he not give them their best goal scoring chances (along with Dempsey - of course)?

GAM is available to add scoring punch. He still may even be under contract.

You seem to be very confident in Fulham.

I actually think the Wolves have a breakthrough year and finish around 12th. Of course, I am biased.
