There is no way to put our best 11 on the field. Xhaka works in a midfield 3. So does Ramsey, Wilshere, Coquelin, basically our entire midfield. Ozil doesn't work in a midfield 3 though. So we are fricked. But we knew that this season.

We should definitely move to the 4-3-3. Ozil isn't committing his future to the club so sell him in January or let him come off the bench. The current injury crisis we are having in defense is another reason to switch formations.
It probably won't matter all that much but what we do we have to lose?

I was/am. 60m for Sanchez would have been good for a player on an expiring contract, and Ozil is dead weight at this point. Last Summer was the time to blow it all up.

I wanted Arsenal to take the money and invest it in younger, up and coming players and start a rebuild of sorts. Here are the players that have contracts expiring in 2018 & 2019:
Alexis - 2018
Ozil - 2018
Jack Wilshere - 2018
Santi - 2018 (I think he has a one year option or something)
Matt Macey - 2018
Aaron Ramsey - 2019
Giroud - 2019
Walcott - 2019
Welbeck - 2019
Monreal - 2019
Cech - 2019
Opsina - 2019
Debuchy - 2019
Akpom - 2019
That's a lot of players that haven't negotiated new contracts yet. There are some players there that Arsenal just need to be done with and move on.
