This has been Pool's MO under Klopp. They look like title favorites against top teams but then they continually drop points against lower sides.

On a more somber note, rumors that Ozil and Sanchez are skipping club events and basically already mentally checked out

I would have been fine with selling Ozil in the summer. I know a lot on this board love him, but I don't think he is good enough to let go on a free in 2018. Maybe there wasn't enough of a market for him. I am fine with embracing Iwobi and Ramsey as his replacement at the 10.

As for Sanchez, I could be imagining things, but he seems even more selfish than normal this season. Yes, he has always been the guy that desperately wants to make things happen, but it seems to have been taken to another level this season. He doesn't want to be the guy that gets the "hockey assist". When the ball is at his feet, more often not, the final result will be an attempted assist, a shot, or a turnover. I could see him thinking the best plan of action is increasing his stats to earn the biggest possible contract in the summer.

Both guys will have value in January for CL teams, since they won't be cup tied.

I have zero problem selling both of them if we pick up a top notch player in January. Doesn't have to be 2 replacements either. I'd move Ramsey up to replace Ozil and go buy a replacement for Ramsey at CM. CMs are on average cheaper than an attacking players so maybe we can pull that off. Doubt we would ever be that proactive but I can dream right?

We really should've picked up Van Dijk or Manolas during the summer.

Per (the human orange cone) Mert scores!!!!!!What a promising day. First Crystal Palace, Fulham steal a point and now the Gunners score on a set piece. Is there hope for LSU?

Did the FA pass a rule that we get screwed on a PK every game?

Terrible decision.

That said I see we still get incredibly nervy after we concede. Need some spine, so we aren't completely on the defensive after each time.

We are so fricking garbage. Oh my fricking god.

Sell Özil and Alexis first thing on January 1, 2018. Sell them for $5. I don't give a shite.

Awful PK decision even worse finishing by Özil

Missed most of the game due to a power outage, but I saw Ozil's awful miss. fricking terrible.

Should've sold him and Alexis both over the summer when we'd actually get okay money with a profit for them. Now we'll be lucky to get anything in January.

I'm over Ozil.

Looked like he'd rather be doing anything else other than playing for Arsenal.

The penalty was garbage and the scrappy goal was quite a bit of luck, but it shouldn't have mattered. So frustrating to watch.
