They gave us the worst beating we've had in a couple years.
Both lineups were different back then. That fixture really doesn't tell us much.

They shat all over us when we played them last year

Also, their back line consists of four CBs so we should be able to do well on the wings

If algeriawins and belgium loses then i believe it is a tie in that group and will go to goal diff. But the belgium side of the bracket imo is the easier side

Messi would dance circles around us

But we could score on them as well, I understand that point.

They have one of the better back 4s in the tourney.

Fellani is very physical if he starts and a great header of the ball in the box.

Lakuka plays for my team Everton and is very tricky in the box and fast.

When they beat us 4-2 Gonzo gifted them 2 goals.

They haven't played well in the first 2 games.

I expect us to approach the game more like we did Portugal, we must go forward and make them defend.

We can beat this team if we contain Lakaku, Hazard ( Chelses ) and Mirales ( Everton ) all 3 are crafty and fast.

Moussa Dembele is a great dribbler in the midfield, but often lacks the passing abilty in the final 1/3 of the pitch.

Bentke or however you spell it is out of the World Cup.

A good indication of how good a World Cup team is can be found by looking at where the players play professionally.

When you see their roster filled with players playing for clubs like Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Everton, the top clubs from the top leagues in the world ... then yes, they are damn good.

Our chances?

We're capable of winning, but we're the definite underdogs.

Belgium is playing with fire in this game. They should want no part of Germany next round.

Romelu Lukaku was one of the most exciting players in the EPL last year and he hasn't even gotten a start since their first game.

He started both of the first two games. For whatever reason, it just hasn't worked so far.

My bad. I didn't think he started the second. I've really enjoyed watching him and have no idea why Chelsea insists on loaning him our every year. Especially when they could use all the help they can get on the attack.
