All of these are available on a free and your favorite club can employee one of them for the next decade. The pogba/dele thread was an enjoyable shite show so let's do it again.

All of these players are 23 or younger. Things to consider would be their style of play, how good they are now, where you perceive their ceiling to be, and how many years of "prime" football you'll get out of them.

The candidates:
Paulo Dybala- 23 years old
Harry Kane- 23 years old
Romelu Lukaku- 23 years old
Gabriel Jesus- 20 years old
Marcus Rashford- 19 years old
Kylian Mbappe- 18 years old

Edited to add lukaku, forgot he was still 23

easily, he can also play an AMC position, and is better than everyone listed, as of this moment. He's still getting better with age.

frick me that's hard

Dybala and Kane are the most clinical

Mbappe and Rashford have elite level pace with good finishing

Jesus is the most versatile

But I'd for with Dybala he's on a whole different level right now

Kane is to fragile

Mbappe and Rashford still have to develop a bit more

Jesus are sample size isn't big enough yet.

Dybala
Mbappe

A couple not mentioned that look really good are Moussa Dembele, Kasper Dolberg and Patrik Schick

edit: Lukaku is only 23 as well...

I think Lukaku on an elite team that can give him great service would do the most damage — his strength, size and speed are incredible.

I do think Mbappe is going to be one of the best in the world in time, though.

Kane is so freaking clinical. He can score in every way. Yes, he looks awkward as he does it, but you can't argue with the results.

You should add Andrea Belotti (23)

Dybala is the best on the list and doesn't look like he'll be slowing down. I would trade Aguero for him and I LOVE me some Kun.

Jesus looks promising but we've seen what, 4 games in a major league now? He's looked great with Brazil and obviously tore it up at Palmeiras but it is still WAY too early.

For PSG I'd take Lukaku
Newcastle I'd take Mbappe

There is a world of difference between those 23 year olds and those 20 and younger. It honestly should be two separate categories.

Belotti is a wrecking machine and tops all of these in "desire" to get on the end of balls and score. He'd be a safer bet than "pacey" winger types.

He's skilled technically as well but quite not at the level of Dybala or Icardi.

So, just from Serie A, I'd have to take Dybala or Icardi (who is 24 but just a few months older than Kane and Lukaku).

Agree.

If he played in the EPL, he'd be the more common answer in this thread.

Half the point of the thread was taking what we know (Kane, lukaku, Dybala) and comparing it to what we predict (rashford, Jesus, Mbappe)

Also factoring in you'd have the younger players for the entirety of their prime, while the 23 year olds will be on the downturn in the final 2-3 years of their decade deal. Lots of variables at play, it's an easier discussion if we're splitting them into two groups

Add Marco Asensio to this debate.

It would be hard not to take Dybala or Mbappe.

I'd take Dybala and wouldn't think twice about it.
