Dude, you're killing my thread. I thought it was a rather good discussion until you showed up.

We really need Jozy to get something going in the friendlies. We have to have production from our strikers. I didn't keep up with Bacon's season at AZ. How has he looked?

The guy came straight in with the comment about leaving Landon at the airport. Sorry I'm sick of hearing about it.

Oh right.

I think the initial question is legitimate with or without Donovan. Although I do find it a bit more intriguing without him. He was the catalyst for the team last WC, but I can't recall any qualifying game this cycle where he was instrumental to a win. Though I do remember something about sunglasses and a corner kick.

Bacon had 26 goals in 51 total games this year.

He could have a big tournament.

Johannsson started off the season really hot but finished pretty cold, although he had an ankle problem that was holding him back. Missed two PKs and only scored 1 in his last 12 or something like that.

Can you not see how much of a dick you've been the last few days on here?

So long, heyday of the soccer board, when people were for the most part civil to each other.

Me either, but I think it's a pretty offensive driven league.

Oh that one. Those are the type of goals that he is so good at getting. He's just in the right spot at the right time for a goal. As someone mentioned earlier those are the type of moments we will need to be able to capitalize on. I think Dempsey does pretty well getting into good spots in the box too.

I'll admit that. I'm prone to be a dick to people posting asinine statements. Did you see noonan's posts here? Have you been following me from thread to thread? Feels like it

Which is why I think the criticism of Donovan's form is overanalyzed. He still has those instincts.

At least I'm drunk. What's your excuse?

My comment is based on this board recently. Bunch of damn crybabies.

Absolutely. We're dicks on here all the time when we disagree. Not sure why people are whining about it now as if we have some pope-like standard to uphold.
