And to be honest, I like Messi and Ozil, and both teams are great to watch. I think it's more of right at this moment everyone would rather Chelsea and Bayern beat them, so you're seeing the negative.

ETA: I'm rooting for Barca over chelsea, because I dislike chelsea more.

Porque? LFP is two teams, Serie A used to be but Inter dominated for half a decade, Bundesligue is Bayern.

I'm not saying it's the prettiest though (EPL)

Amicably, leaving Manchester United the recipient of a world record transfer fee

Wrt to the OP, Real Madrid is the original Galactic Empire.

I'm kinda torn. I love their style of play but I'm not too big on the diving/acting.

I'm the same way. I admire Barca's style of play and their brilliance, but I just hate their consistent acting and diving.

I hate madrid, though. Probably just because FIFA has made them unstoppable and bullshite to play against

LOL at the EPLers complaining about the acting and diving. LULZ.

I hate it too, but caveat lector here. Caveat Lector.

Barca: I like Xavi, Messi, the way they play, and what they claim to stand for. I dislike their playacting, their claims of moral superiority due to their squad when they pay as much as anyone, and their "we're too good for a sponsor, but we'll have a sponsor" schtick.

Madrid: I like Xabi Alonso. That's all the good I can say about them, other than that they're really talented.

As I recall the story, Barca PAY UNICEF for the privilege. I'd love for there NOT to be kit sponsorships at all. But most clubs need every bit they can get.

Plus, for me, John Paul II was a socio of Barca. That right there is cool.

I don't usually come to the Soccer Board, but when I do, I see many not like the two Spanish teams. I am long-time Barça fan, but even I must admit the LFP is a two horse race. Is this it? Happy Champions semi-final day

1. They pretty much play unimpeded all year as practice games excluding the champions league and the classico.

2. They spend like the manchester cities and chelsea's of the world... people hate them the same way.

I like Madrid. Ronaldo is my favorite player and I love Madrid when they counter attack. Ozil, Kaka, Casillas, Xabi Alonso, and Benzema are the other guys I really like on Madrid. Wolves are my favorite club, but I definitely root for Madrid to win La Liga and Champions League.

I hate Barcelona. As TN Bhoy said, I hate their holier than thou attitude and how they develop their own players claim as if they are superior. They remind of the Red Sox. frick them.

Most of all, how can you compete with this:

I don't support either club, but Don Revie wanted to model Leeds United after Real Madrid, so I do pull for them over Barca.

Nope according to the argument posed in the thread the other day today proved that EPL > La Liga.

Detachment. More people watch/follow the EPL than La Liga.
