Husband and son have tickets to Tuesday's game and will be driving in from Louisiana. Is it worth buying a parking pass near the stadium?

Any other parking suggestions/hints/tricks? Thanks.

You can park at a variety of locations and take Metro. A lot of people use the Fannin South Park and Ride and take it one stop north.

no getting out of Reliant for Texans games is usually pretty good.

Lite rail is an option but parking really isn't an issue and if they are coming straight back to LA after the game, I'd tell them to park on the southern side of NRG (closer to 610).

Traffic after the games flows pretty well but sometimes it backs up for those who need to hop on the loop.

There is a gas station right past the Smoothie King on Kirby/Old Spanish Trial. Usually $15-20 to park. Easy getting in and out. Use it every year for the rodeo. 3/4 mile walk to stadium.
