Warning: don't read the Reddit thread. Bunch of English posters talking shite on American players, pretending they're Spain Germany or Italy.

NY Red Bulls have an open DP slot, and have been rumoured to be waiting for the right prospect.

If you mention that they have the market cornered on shite players, you get downvoted into oblivion. They're the personification of the English media.

There was a Freddy Adu thread yesterday. Those are the best...because no other country in the world would make a big deal out of a 14 y/o making their U20 team.

The best is when Englishmen argue for academies (which I am for... BTW). I tell them whatever england is doing, I don't want to do that.

I wish we would schedule England for a pre World Cup friendly. Jozy would run train on their back 4.

Even though the English on Reddit are taking a huge dump on Jozy, I can't really disagree with most of what they're saying.

He has 2 goals in 48 appearances in the EPL. That's as a striker non the less. Sure, a huge part of that is the system which he plays in but still 2 goals?

I do highly doubt that Jozy is the worst striker to ever step foot in the EPL like all the reddit posters are saying, BUT he surely is in the bottom tier.

I know Jozy can play at a high level but it's all but a fact that he can't do that in the EPL. Ship him back to the Netherlands and call it a day. Hopefully he can get his confidence and goalscoring form back .

He should never step foot in England again, unless it's on vacation, Euro / Champions league, or a team friendly.

They're so anti-American on there it's ridiculous. It's so obvious that this is the one sport Americans kind of care about that they can claim superiority in so they just fricking cling to it. They better enjoy it while it lasts. Bc at some point soccer will get big enough here to where we'll really care, and the money will start to show that, and then it's only a matter of time

I don't see that happening in my lifetime IMO. I'm only 20.

I'm not talking just the Jozy hate. He hasn't been good at all, that's obvious. It's any American player. They have an American player complex. It makes me laugh considering that their own league's best teams rely pretty much primarily on foreigners for a reason.

So, has anyone heard anything new about a potential move for Jozy before the deadline?
