That Confederations Cup in South Africa was the zenith for US Soccer as far as the quality of play goes. We played lights out, and probably should have beaten Brazil and won it.

Imagine that squad with Jones. 2010 could have been so much better.

Yep, Jones then even wasn't close to what he is now but he still would've been a HUGE improvement over Rico Clark.

Why we went back to him against Ghana after the way Benny and Edu were playing, I'll never know.

Bob was an idiot for sticking with Rico.

If Michael Bradley hadn't gotten a phantom red card at the end of that Spain game then I'm pretty sure we would have beat Brazil.

When the lineup was released that day, I was ANGRY and knew we were fricked with Rico out there.
