PSG are not as good as Barca, Madrid, or Bayern. But the gap isn't that big. Why do so many guys on here shite on them so much? They have a ton of talent. Talent wins.

The issue is bc they are so much better than everyone in their league they struggle in Europe. When you are not tested for weeks upon weeks its hard to turn it on just over night.

This is absloute truth.

How bad is the tax siuation in France compared to other countries in Europe? Seems like thats part of the problem.

Also th PSG hate seems a lot like "new money" hate

It was a lot worse but has since been brought back closer in line with other countries. Plus you can get around that with incentive clauses.

PSG get tested more than people who don't watch a lot of Ligue 1 realize.

Not sure it really makes any difference since it only effects so few superstars and the amount is not that much compared to other EU countries.

Ligue 1 has actually seemed to be getting stronger the last few years.

This is both true and false. The flip side is they can really focus their efforts on the CL opponents in a way that other clubs in the thick of it can't.

We saw last year that PSG dilly dallied a lot the first half of the season, then really turned on the jets the second half. They are everyone's cup final in France so they do get everybody's best shot. That doesn't matter as much as some of the lower table clubs who don't have much talent but the French league down to the 10th or 11th club in the standings is fairly underrated by most.

Yep, there's a lot of really good young talent in L1 and they view their 2 games against PSG as their chance to really get noticed.

I'm not sure how competitive Ligue 1 will be this year. Marseille will probably be significantly worse, Lyon has looked like shite in the preseason, and Monaco's fortunes rely heavily on the health of El Shaarawy.

You're in denial if you don't think PSG have as good a shot at winning the CL is just about anyone.

That wasn´t the topic. The topic was that he somehow considers RM inferior and more accessible or beatable, than the other two.

I do think Bayern and Barca are slightly better than RM at the moment.

Well, maybe not Bayern.

I think that with the addition of ADM, if PSG brings their A+ game they can beat everyone in the world with the exception of Barca, who will still beat PSG most of the time.

Assuming injuries/suspensions are even, I think PSG, playing an A+ game, would be a tossup against RM or Bayern.

Marseille. And you don't have to tell me they suck. I already know. Management is incompetent.

I'm glad their stadium is back in FIFA this year. With the Euros in France next summer hopefully we'll get a nice bump in L1 stadiums for Fifa 17. PDP needs to be updated as well.
