Obviously huge that so many of the squad were at melwood working with klopp over the international break. Really the first time they have been able to train over days instead of just game prep.
Hope we can keep the energy up.
As for the summer - I firmly believe klopp wasn't ready yet and needed the break. So we hung onto Rodgers knowing we could get rid of him quickly.

I am amazed at how Firmino has been just flicking the ball over, under, and around defenders. His skill has really been on display.
Also, I am still drooling over that back heel pass from Can.
Back line got a bit unorganized at the back end of the half... I am sure that will be ironed out.

Great position to be in with both Studge and Benteke on the bench. It'd be great to not need to play either of them.

Yeah that back heel was just incredible...
I'm running out of good things to say about this so far. Just really hoping we keep the killer instinct and make sure they don't get back into it in the 2nd half

Fantastic 43 minutes. Just gotta keep it going in the second half and forget Agueros moment of brilliance. That was gorgeous. Love the trio of Lallana, Coutinho, and Firmino. They are wreaking havoc in the final third. The Klopp effect is very evident. YNWA!!!

Reds looking really good! Couldn't imagine this kind of start under Rodgers v City.
