Seemed like we've played a man down most of the match. Guess it was about time it became official

I can't decide if playing w/Sakho makes Lovren look a half way competent CB... or playing w/Skrtel exposes him as the fraud he is...

I guess I'm saying the same thing...

The days of Skrtel must be over...

I expected a very inexperienced side.. with us looking forward to Thursday and with Swansea having a lot to play for still, a tough match...

That was just absolutely terrible to watch though... I won't read much into though, other than the fact that a couple of those players should never wear the shirt again when this season is over..

I thought Ward was MotM and looked well, considering what was in front of him..

After the 2nd goal went in, I just fast forwarded through most of the rest of it... just horrible to watch, we better have a great showing on Thursday or else we can kiss Europe goodbye next year.

Now watching to see if Leicester will win the title today

Skrtel for sure. Ibe is making a strong case for this too. He's been so poor. We will need a few transfers and allow him to progress without pressure.

It's probably not popular, but Lucas is past his prime. He is too slow to be sitting in front of a back four. I don't want to see him go but I think it's imperative that he's not starting outside of cup games or to rotate the squad next season. Smith.... He's 22 and should technically be playing more. I'm not sure what Klopp's plans are for him but surely he's got to be up there with players to be on their way out

Lucas has been past it for a few years... he needs to go, as well.. i like him.. wish him well.. but he's way too fricking slow to be effective..

I think today he was def exposed, but he was also exposed against Villarreal. They ran circles around him

he's hasn't been close to this level since his knee injury... always a liability...

I understand why Klopp brought him on, Chiravella looked like a kid out there...

Unfortunately, these injuries (+ Sakho) have come at a terrible time... really disappointed in Sakho.. wouldn't be surprised if he's played his last game for us..

Well gentlemen, that's what happens when you start the youngest team since 1971.

Yeah, not entirely unexpected... but hey we're one day closer to Thursday, ready to watch another special European night at an anfield (preferably without the drama of the last one though )

Chiravella was not ready for prime time. At all.

I think a large part of it was having Stewart next to him - much easier to start a guy for the first time when he has an experienced player next to him. So I wouldn't necessarily say he'll never be ready. But to start two young guys - well, Swansea breezed right through them.

But really, Cou didn't seem into it and didn't link the midfield with the attack. The young guns looked like they were trying to hard at times.

Just a tough match to watch.

We're all in for Euro Cup or else there may not be Europe next year.

Sobering thought of the day -

Spurs will have finished above us 6 out of the last 7 years - and in four of those years another team or two finished above us as well (outside of the other Big 5)

Who do y'all think would be the better addition? Pastore or Gotze?

Gotze .

Also, rumors the Emre Can may be available Thursday for the second leg. Would be huge if true...

Gotze.. I think would be the better fit..

but I love Pastore.. One of my favorite players... I just think he's strictly a #10 and not as versatile as Gotze..

I concur with Gotze...

Can would be huge, but I doubt he would be able to go 90 either way.

I've reversed course on Gotze, etc. I'll believe it when I see it. Too many rumors about Dortmund now, etc.

Mainly, I refuse to get my hopes up too high when it comes to transfers any more. It seems to me that Klopp is a bit more savy when it comes to transfer info, leaks, etc. but I still don't believe a thing until I see that lean.

Doesn't mean I won't get excited with the next rumor though .

What for? Because he's been fat and relatively shite or does he have attitude problems?

By the fans. But management keeps talking about him. Wouldn't be the first time fans wishes didn't mean a thing.
