Meh, no one off the top of my head, but Benteke was especially terrible as a sub

I've seen two gifs on my phone...

One of Vardy's first goal and one of a passing sequence (labeled Leicester looks like Barca)that made us look like an amateur team... I don't think I have the stomach for it.

I agree, that there isn't a player on this roster that can't be upgraded on and turned over this summer... Obviously, it wont be all of them, but...

The main offenders for me that need to go:

Benteke
Ibe
Lucas
Lovren
Clyne
Migs

At the very least, there are certainly others I wouldn't mind see hit the road

Honestly thought we played OK in the first half. Migs even had a couple very nice saves. The only two who pissed me off were Moreno & Can, both of whom feel the need to boot the ball over the cross bar every single time they get the ball. As per usual.

After Vardy scored we were finished. We went to complete shite after that.

We can do better than Clyne... Lovren as well.

Probably right about Ibe, but he's just seemed to regress in the last year or so.

I'd be fine with keeping Migs as the backup

I thought Lucas had a terrible game. His link up play between our back four and midfield was okay, but his ability to break up play between the deeper lying midfield and Mahrez/Vardy was almost non-existent. There was so much space in front of Lovren and Sakho all day.

Sure we could always do better, but we have much more pressing needs. You can't overhaul a whole squad. Calm down. I'm not pleased with the outcome either, but jeez

I didn't say get rid of them first, that list wasn't in any particular order... Just saying, it'd help to be more consistent on the back line

Well that was hard to watch. Yes, upgrades will be made in the summer. We're a complete work in progress which isn't fun in the here and now, but hopefully we can get the cup trophy and then reset next year. It does feel like we are doing this every year, cuz we have, but we knew this was coming bringing in a new manager. Something has to change with the transfer committee, however.
To answer your question about Moreno, he is essentially playing as a LW without providing his defensive cover. This is catastrophic for our defensive shape, and stretches our CB's who have a lot of issues on their own already. Thing is, Moreno does not even provide a solid end product through crosses etc. to somewhat make up for his defensive failings. He is a major liability right now and either needs to shape up, or he will be replaced.

In general, defensively he is prone to mental lapses and we just aren't good enough in the rest of defense to cover for his mistakes... he does have great pace to sometimes make up for it and recover...

I like him in attack, unfortunately we just don't have forwards that like to get in the box and get on the end of things...

I'm torn on him, because I'd prefer to upgrade in other areas, but truth be told, if he was replaced this summer, I wouldn't be upset. At the very least, we should bring in someone who can compete for the starting spot..

In a nut shell:

- Lots of potential
- Good (at times great) in the attacking third
- Completely loses concentration at least once a game

I knew we were in trouble as soon as Lucas was starting. Lucas is nowhere near quick enough to handle a team like Leicester. They have three attacking players that can run circles around him in quick bursts. We were lucky to not give up more as there was lots of space for them to get off shots.

We must have had at least 10 different sequences where we could have easily gotten off a good cross with them just a bit off balance, and just can't even @#$@# cross the @#$@# ball. It was either a shot with no chance of going in or we ran it across the end line or the cross was so terrible it went over the endline and didn't even make it to near enough to the goal to be considered a shot.

I said it a few weeks ago - could this squad be good with a sturidge, etc. Yes. But I'm on board with replacing pretty much everyone. Not a single guy on this team today made the squad any better by being on the pitch. They all put in effort, but the ability, creativity, willpower is completely missing. I'm not sure we have any building blocks of value here. Sure, some guys have a lot of tools - Hendo could be good, but he's really only had a quarter of a season where he looked like he could become THE guy. Do you really see Hendo as the captain inked in as an important starter on any team that can win the league (unless we get another force of nature like Suarez?)? He's just not nearly good enough.

Everyone made stupid decisions when there were easy better options. Everyone made lazy passes that gave up possession in the final attacking third constantly (allowing counter opportunities). Everyone tried to hit a worldie and ended up kicking the ball 30 yards over the goal. You know, when you are getting ready to hit one of those and two defenders pull towards you and try to block the shot, that means some space is likely open for a pass.

In short - we give decent effort, but we lack a huge amount of football IQ (offense and defense), awareness, skills, and killer instinct. Pretty much across the board.

A bit harsh on Hendo. It's his first game back from injury. He would be more consistent this year if he wasn't a semi-permanent fixture of the injury crisis.

shite, regarding Hendo, look at it this way... If he doesn't get a red against City a couple years ago, we win the league.

Teixeira to China for €50m. China is screwing up the market big time. If they are going to pay that much for an uncapped player, what would they pay for a Messi or Lewandowski?
