If Sturridge can miraculously remain healthy for the second half of the season, we need to sell him in the summer.
Disagree - if we can keep him healthy the rest of the year, I think that means Klopp has the patience and confidence needed to let him heal properly instead of rushing him back like BR did.
I think that, more than anything, has hampered him and caused so many re-occuring injuries. Klopp has been right to treat him differently and require more of a build-up.

He was "rushed" back?
The dude's career has been a complete shite show.
So much similarity to Torres. It's a real shame.

Absolutely.

Yeah at 50m I'd sell.
And yes Rodgers rushed him back pretty much every single time - excluding when he had surgery and Rodgers had no choice.
Every time he got hurt, as soon as he was remotely ready Rodgers would throw him into the lineup because he needed him. Klopp is the one insisting he go through a "pre-season" program and also complete 10 straight days of training.

Good to know.

yeah, I like that approach... I mean he's used to playing without him, so bring him back slowly and try to avoid all these setbacks.
I'm surprised Origi is back so soon, for some reason I was thinking his injury was longer term...
but those 4 back will be a boost to the squad..

It may not work at all - he could just be @#$@#$ for the rest of his career.
But its different than whats been tried before, and my point and response was to the "if he's healthy the rest of the year lets sell him..." post.
My thought is IF he is healthy the rest of the year - a big if - its likely due to how Klopp has treated him which will likely bode well for the future and also means future injuries can be treated correctly by Klopp again.

Ings to start doing some training/rehab outside this week. That's awesome considering he's a little over 3 months out from surgery

yeah... thats one of the points Ive tried to make all along... he needs to be healthy to be sold.. if he's healthy, why sell him? anyway, I won't rehash all that..

I'd imagine he won't be with the team for another ~2 months. Usually around a 6 month process so I'd imagine it's on course. Maybe a little early, which is awesome.

Yea he's early. Running doesn't "typically" start until ~3 months after ACL reconstruction. Obviously that can be accelerated with a professional athlete with their fitness level and the amount of rehab they do. But still, the body can only heal so fast. So I imagine he's been doing some extent of running inside and doing plyometrics prior to going out on the field.
Yes he's a long way away, but it seems like he's progressing pretty quickly. I just hope they don't try to rush him back at the end of the season and give him the time he needs so he'll be plenty ready to go and be able to take full part in summer training.

If we bring him back at all for even 5 minutes for the last game, I'll be very disappointed.
Let him heal and get healthy and get ready for next season. At this rate, he'll be in top shape for the start.

I'd be happy writing Ings off until preseason 2016/2017..

Not too upset about this one. A midweek game at King Power, against the team at the top of the table. Sure, a draw would have been nice, but we were lucky to even be in it at half time.
I'm just hoping for some cup success, and a top 5 or finish. The League Cup sure would be nice.

fricking Vardy. We didn't even chat shite and he still banged us! What a season by that lad. I don't even want to talk about our side right now. Too frustrated.

I don't think I'm even going to watch it when I get home tonight.
Was there anyone who played well?
