To be fair Johnson had his moments where he was one of the top fullbacks in the world. He was always more of a project being more of an attacker but he wasnt a bad defender by any means in his prime

That game where we smashed Madrid in the champion league at Anfield, he was just a class above.

Andrea Dossena was incredible that week as well.

Dude he had a couple seasons where he was pretty much the best RB in the world, he and Alves.

Yes, he went to shite, but dude was awesome there for a couple seasons.

Thank god. Will be interesting to see what BR does with Sterling this weekend.

Despite the run of form, we need Lucas in there badly.

I think when he came out saying Lucas is ready he was more or less saying he'll start.

Hearing that Sturridge and Lallana might miss the Banks Street Derby.

It really is one

Liverpool away fans won't be affected by the national rail works this weekend bc they all will be taking the tube home.

Pretty much. I hate seeing people trash him bc he was a stud and a rock for Liverpool.I think its mostly relatively new fans who rip on him like hes always been bad.

The last two years he's been so bad I can't adequately put it into words. He played well for us a few years back but I want to claw my eyes out watching him this year and last year. He's been far and away our worst player for too long. I even rate Lovren and Enrique higher.

Without a doubt.

Dude was super underrated in defense and his attacking was phenomenal.

Kinda like Ashley Cole except less of a twat and more of a goal threat.

I was a staunch GJ supporter for years, though he was never great in defense, and his offensive production was just okay.. but after some of the performances last season, I had had enough... He still shows flashes of it and could play a role, but not on those wages... It's probably best he just moves on...

That's the rub, wages don't equal production at all. Well free up a nice amount of cash with him and Stevie moving on and can we get a striker who fricking scores actual goals! We have one who can't stay on the pitch and another who can't stay out of the managers doghouse.

How much of a must win is the match tomorrow? ManU still plays arsenal, city, and Chelsea so it doesn't seem like 0-1 points kills liverpools shot at the top 4 out right.

It's a must win.

Draw would be maybe ok, but totally takes the race out of our hands.

Lose and we're totally done.

I'm debating on whether or not I should go out drinking tonight or stay in so I can wake up at 6:45 and watch it live.

If you'd told me a year ago Id ever make that statement I would have cramped up from laughter.

Point wise it would be detrimental. I think it would be even worse for our mentality towards the finish
