Gerrard can frick right off to LA with that shite. I've never been so utterly disappointed with my own players actions. Inexcusable and completely the opposite of how you want your captain to act. I love the guy for what he's given the club over the years but he gets no free pass on that. If Balo or Hendo do that they're crucified. fricking childish and likely cost us the top four. Still furious with his actions.

On another note, hats off to United. They wanted it more and didn't back down from the moment. Mature and professional display by them, unlike our captain.

I come in peace

Good game, Liverpool after being played off the field the first 35mins started to settle in. Played hard even when down 10 men, but just wasn't their day LvG put on a tactical master peace.

What are you guys thoughts with Sterling and his demands for 150k a week? He was non existent again.

and Balo

It was a good game. LVH knew exactly how to handle Liverpool's shape, and Rodgers responded well with switching to the diamond. It got us back in the game. And even down a man it was good to see the fight, as well as the penalty save, even though it was meaningless at that point.

Sterling can frick right off with those wage demands. Perhaps if he played like someone deserving of £150k/wk it would be a different story.

Not sure what his issue is; but he is playing like he doesn't want to be here. I'd rather send him to Man U than pay him 150k per, and that is saying something.

Did Balotelli even make the bench yesterday btw?

He came on for Moreno at 65'. It was a much needed sub. Moreno was bad, and singularly at fault for both goals. Unfortunate to say the least, but he'll bounce back.

I would sell Sterling in a heartbeat before 150K. Hilarious joke if you ask me. Sure he's versatile, sure he's british. But he's not enough of an offensive threat to justify that ridiculous amount of money.

By the way, LvG drug BR through the tactical mud on that one. It's days like yesterday we're reminded that for all of the great things Brendan has done he's still got a lot to learn.

I think Rogers should have been prepared to switch to the diamond with the starting personnel immediately should the tactical need arise - not waited to half to do it. That was his big failing.

We will be seeing a lot of the 4-2-3-1 going forward and need to have easy adjustments prepared.

Well he's always been a proponent of playing his game and not adjusting because of the opponent. That has its merit, but if you're going to play with that philosophy then you need to be ready to switch formations on a dime. Many questioned Lallana's inclusion from the beginning. When it became evident that Adam was being run over we should have made the early sub.

That being said, he made the sub he needed to at half. Switching to a diamond with Gerrard at the base was exactly what the game called for, and our performance on a semblance of that shape with only 10 men was enough to convince me if we would've had 11 we could've won it. At least gotten a draw.

Its a God damned shame that Gerrard put his own emotions before the team. I appreciate his apology but I can't forgive him for it. At least not yet. He's been putting his desires to play before the wellbeing of the team for awhile now. Not only is this a season ruining action because of him but he honestly could've seriously injured AH. Rewatching the stamp is absolutely disgusting. He even twists his leg into his ankle. What the frick possesses someone to do such a thing?

Its pretty fricking clear Lallana and Coutinho can't play together. Not sure why Rogers keeps insisting on it at this point.

I'm a big Lallana fan but he's been absolute shite lately. At first it seemed like he was trying to play him into form but you don't try that against United with 4th place on the line.

Saw that. Hip this time. I think its precautionary though. From what I read he felt tightness after the game and didn't want Woy fricking his career up for the second time so he pulled himself out of intl duty.

Oh man, too bad he Sterling, and Lallana won't be able to play for Woy this week. Such a shame.

He's the new Arjen Robben.

Hopefully he hits form and becomes injury free at 27.

Don't you think there is a reason I asked, jackass? I am driving across the country so I didn't get to see much of the game. Cram yourself.
