I don't think it's much of a loss.. we need better IMO
plus, we put a buy back clause in there, in case he proves otherwise..
edit: I'd ship Flanno out too and buy a better RB to compete with Clyne.. though it wouldn't be a high priority...

I think Chillwell just re upped with LC. There was a lot of smoke from Hector earlier and Klopp obviously rates him. I just think we are getting rid of Teke and then we make a move. I have really liked our business so far and I just can't believe that we don't make a true run at a LB in the next couple of weeks.

I don't know if Amavi is real or not... I can't imagine cost being a barrier... My only issue with him, is he did his knee last season and is only just getting back to full training... I know we've come a long way in being able to rehabilitate ACL's.. but still a little bit of doubt...
I like Willems, but think the stories are coming out now because of the tweet/instagram post when we signed Wijnaldum... I would take him in a heartbeat though... Although, he may be similar to Moreno in defending, but with more end product in attack..
If we're going to splash that kind of cash for Hector, I'd rather us throw it at Ricardo Rodriguez..
Anyway, I think anyone of the guys mentioned could come in and push Moreno and we need that.. well, except Chilwell.. he seems more of a project and one for the future..

I'm with you, that is a solid stock to choose from and I would think we would probably not go 20 or above for a LB. When we pull in one of these guys the only thing that we didn't upgrade this summer is with a true, physical DM but I trust that JK knows who is out there and is bringing in the players he needs at this moment. I think we forget sometimes that he is here long term and thinking about issues like overhauling and moving the academy, this is a marathon for him and not a sprint.

Considering every MF'er we were linked with was more of an attacking type or B2B... I gotta think that Klopp sees Can in that role.. That's fine if he can stay and develop in that position...
I really think we needed one, but we shall see...
edit: we were linked with Gary Medel last week... I'd love that pick up.. He's a poor man's Mascherano IMO.. He wouldn't be a nailed on starter, could allow Can to still develop, but still be an option when the match called for the bite in MF he provides..

The "Chilean Pit Bull" would be a really good summer with an LB and good return on Benteke. You are spot on with Can I didn't put 2 and 2 together.
