im glad Emre Can finally had a good game and showed his potential. Hope we can get him signed to a new deal if he keeps it up. Should be an interesting summer either way. Hope the board backs Klopp big time

As goddamn ridiculous as it sounds, you're right.
Everton at home
Bournemouth at home
Stoke away
West Brom away
Crystal Palace at home
Watford away
Southampton at home
West Ham away
Middlesbrough at home
We can do this, just have to fricking focus and open up the teams that park the bus.

That is murderer's row for us.

To put it into perspective, we lead the league in goals scored by 2 (61). Swansea leads the league in goals conceded by 5 (63). They beat us 3-2 in January

So... not sure if there is any truth, but I am seeing a few claims (like on This is Anfield) that we are prepared to pay 3x the Real Madrid bid for Theo Hernandez this summer...
I'd love to see us outbid RM just for the sake of saying we did, but I don't know what that would leave us with to bolster the striker corps or pick up a keeper worth his weight.

Yea I saw that too, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Can't see us shelling out a pile of money for a left back when there are several other options out there.
Of course this is all relative to what RM is potentially bidding
I would think that Klopp would look to Germany and Holland before shelling out an arm and a leg for a RM target. The guy is still a teenager. Not saying they can't make a difference but damn I wish we would bring in some guys in their prime

I think that this signing may be the most Klopp-y the he has made, assuming there is truth to it and it happens. I mean, he has an eye for young talent, and knack for helping them make instant impacts.

What I read was, we prepared to pay 3x the wages RM were offering...
His brother is an outstanding young CB prospect, as well...

Rescuing this off of page 3 (almost page 4)
But hate to do it with the strong rumor that Lallana is injured and out for about a month.

Yep. Seeing that on the lfc instagram now. Saying he complained of discomfort and still played 90 minutes. Really sucks. Wonder who slides into the midfield with Gini and Can I'm worried it's Lucas
Posted on 3/28/17 at 2:04 pm to Riseupfromtherubble
I thought I had read that Hendo may be back? I don't know who I would want in that further third though, and having Lallana out means less pressing energy.
If he puts Lucas in, I may lose it.

I'd rather let Moreno run around like a maniac than watch Lucas struggle around the midfield.

What are we keeping Stewart around for if this isn't it?
Put him in to shield the back 4 - let Can and Gini run around?
looking into it - apparently Hendo hasn't practiced with the team yet, so he's a doubt for this weekend.

Did Lallana injure himself in training? What happened?
I'd rather let Can sit deep and play Ovie Ejaria up higher with Wij...
Or go with 3 at the back...
Is Firmino out too?

Apparently the rumor is he felt something BEFORE the Lithuania game but still played in it.
Your Ejaria thought is interesting - I'm just not sure he's ready yet for that pivotal role in a derby type game. Stewart has a lot more experience. But I don't know that I would be opposed to it.
Firmino is not definitely out (as far as I know) but the Brazil Boys had a long journey and, from what I recall, Phil started and Cou came on as a sub after their last international break.

I just think he's a Championship level talent... I'd rather throw the kid into the fire... or even Grujic...
Maybe that's poor logic, given we need every point we can get from here on out...
Honestly, if Lovren is healthy, I'd almost prefer a back 3... with a Gini/Can midfield..
I cant believe how unbelievably thin we are...
edit: yeah, I saw Bobby playing last night...

This is why I am anxiously awaiting what we do this summer. It is going to be a HUGE window for us. I know we have said this almost every summer but if we make the Top Four I think this is truer than it has been it quite some time.

Joyce reporting that the owners will give Klopp the biggest transfer kitty in Liverpool history and with less focus on future talent in favor of current talent.
Not sure how true that is, or if Klopp will even want proven talent, but this summer could be fun or frustrating as hell.

I'll believe it when I see it.

At least that sounds good right?
