Anyone else find it interesting that Woodburn came on for Cou? They do have some similarities - and I'm wondering if Klopp isn't going to try to build him as a bit of an understudy?
I thought he was a bit underwhelming in intensity on defense, but he put a really nice cross on the ball and has a nice right foot on him. He also seems to have that quick little burst with the ball that cou has.
one thing I really want as we build squad depth is the ability to put in a back-up player to fill the role of the starter and not have to change systems just because one guy is being rested or injured.

I didn't really, based on the bench we had and how Cou was playing (not exactly great) it seemed like the obvious replacement.
Agreed his defense leaves something to be desired, but you can definitely see the talent level of the kid

Sorry some of the pictures aren't of the greatest quality.
Overall, Had so much fun. Truly a trip I will never forget. Definitely chills down my spine, and maybe shed a tear during YNWA. The atmosphere wasn't the best, but something I can't compare to any other sporting event I've witnessed. Definitely worth making the trip! Hope you guys can soon

So there is a small restricted section above the main stand where I was sitting. I made a comment to a local fan sitting next to me. He said something along the lines of "why don't you ask firmino about it?" I though he was joking and I didn't really understand it, until I looked over to the left and firmino was just chillin watching with friends/ family! lol. After full time I got his attention and he gave me a thumbs up and took off. I imagine he had a different exit from the stand than everybody else did though.

Supposedly Firmino worked out at Melwood by himself on Wednesday and Thursday, and he was expected to work out with the team Friday and Saturday. Not sure if that came to fruition, but that's what I read.
On the Hendo front, Klopp said he'd likely be back and starting after the international break for the match against Everton.

I wish they'd do a simple red and white one with that.
I really like the black, but as I said in the kit thread, I hate the hoops around the arm and leg holes on this one. Love that the crest is on the leg, though.

I actually really like that kit... But would LOVE the simple red and white you're talking about too.
