You it's like how everyone hates him for his World Cup handball. No ones sees it like me ... The ultimate sacrifice for his team to win the game. Yes he handball but he saved the game knowing he wouldn't be able to play the next match. Ultimate team move!!!

This is all wrong. I don't think ANYONE on this board hates him for what he did in the world cup. At least I don't.
People hate him because he is a diving (not me), whining, complete arse on the field. Maybe he's making strides to rectify his image but up you reap what you sow and it's hard to change first impressions.
