You're trying to get in a semantics discussion with SCH?

Godspeed, comrade.

It seems it turned that way but at the very beginning of the thread it seemed like people(him included) were trying to indicate that you did not get every game with the gold package.

Which is what i was trying to clear up. You definitely get every game, the only exception is for people who are cord cutters and don't have a cable subscription.

So are there full match replays for all games or no? This is crucial for me as I rarely can watch games live (I have DirecTV so I have a cable package already)

Price and Inferiority/Superiority are mutually exclusive things... It's possible to have a far better product and charge less, and it's possible to have a shittier product and charge more (granted not a very good business model). Just because you're paying for it doesn't make the product worse

I ant paying for that shite

I have a far superior product for a better price anyway

Yes.

The OnDemand content collection is massive:

Full match replays
Clips for every goal scored in real time.
Extended highlights for every match - Not just goals
TV style content i.e. PL News, PL Preview for each game, PL Review for each game, PL Today, Fanzone, PL World, PL Download, PL Fantasy, Highlights and full replays of classic games and classic storylines (Keane/Vieira, etc).

All HD
NO ADS

To say it's an inferior product is retarded.

You said what is the point of PAYING for an INFERIOR product.

I like watching on my cable provider, it's far easier.

With Gold, they've taken some streaming matches that would have been shown via added cable channels (Uverse, DTV, etc.) and now I not only have to pay extra for those games, I have to watch them via an app.

yeah that's a fair argument. I guess they figure these days most people either have apple tv, roku, amazon fire tv, etc etc.

Which isn't really different than cable channels.

To use those apps like NBC you still need a cable subscription to log into.

I have all of this. If I didn't I'd be paying an extra 100 bucks plus increased internet speed to get something I already had for free last year.

Like most people, we have what, 5 tvs? I have streaming devices on all, but they're not all the latest Apple TV devices. Is it that big of a deal? Not really. But when I'm sitting down to watch a game and I have a buffering issue or some authorization issue or the app fricks up, those are things that don't really happen through my cable provider.

conversely it started rainy its balls off for the arsenal game and DTV went out. Was glad i was able to switch to the app.

Now the Arsenal game wasn't on the gold package but just saying i don't really consider the app a worse way to watch content. I watch MLB almost nightly on the MLB app with zero issues.

Haha I don't love Uverse and it's absurdly expensive, but it's reliable as hell.

all matches used to be available via multiple platforms.

Now is not the case. Not everyone is going to own a streaming device.

To get the full service you have to buy a streaming device and then pay extra for what you had all included on tv.

Everything you just said outside of the bold is just rehashing the first page. I thought you were making a new point.

Agreed not everyone will have a streaming device but i think 95% of the target audience does. I personally don't know one person who doesnt unless you count my mother and grandparents.

And maybe it's petty, but I just get annoyed by having to get online and check to see which match is on which platform today. Plus, whereas I could switch between channels to watch multiple games at once, now I may have to switch between roku and my cable or whatever.

These are first world problems, but as we've stated, it's paying more for less

well i understand the nuisance of switching inputs but again it's not paying for "less".

If you believe the OP it's paying for more content.

I'm with yall that it sucks to pay at all, just haven't seen a good argument that it's actually an inferior product to last year.
