I think it's funny how much people hate soccer like it has wronged them in some way. I don't watch hockey but I don't make a point to express how stupid I think it is too other people. It just doesn't appeal to me. I'm not proud to say it but I used to think soccer was fruity. Needless to say, my days of bigotry are behind me.

I personally cannot stand baseball on tv but do enjoy going to games. Enjoy meaning "hey this is boring as shite, but at least they have beer"

This statement alone lets me know that most soccer fans are just pretentious. I think it is kinda girly not to require lots of strength or use of the hands. Sorry. I don't know why that makes me a "bigot."

Not trying to be a hipster or anything but I kind of like that not everyone likes soccer. This board is certainly better off because of it.

I think the requirement of strength is on par with the NBA and MLB... obviously not the NFL..

Not sure what was pretentious about what I said. My use of the word bigot was sarcastic. obviously I wasn't a bigot cause I didn't like soccer up until a few years ago. I'd say a decent amount of people who regularly post on this board didn't like soccer their entire lives.
