MLS Week 10: Highlights, Notes, & Table

Hey bros (American lingo since this is MLS), I thought I would make a thread with links to highlights, some blurbs, and a table for all the week's results in MLS. If the board enjoys I might make it a weekly occurring thing to make it easy for those with an interest in keeping up with MLS.
Here are your highlights:
San Jose@Seattle
Dempsey still has it and Morris has now scored four matches in a row.
Real Salt Lake@Colorado
Jones is loving life in Colorado, playing as a 10 with complete freedom to do whatever he wishes, and rampaging all over the pitch with a pace that he has not had for some time.
Sporting Kansas City@Houston
SKC is misfiring, now winless in their last six matches with Vermes openly challenging the manhood of his players.
FC Dallas@Toronto FC
A lot of good things are happening for the Reds: new BMO Field, eight match road trip done with solid results, string of home matches coming up, Bradley is back to being a force in the middle, Irwin is establishing himself as one of the best keepers in MLS, and Giovinco is always fun to watch.
Montreal@Columbus
A bizarrely entertaining match that saw the Crew surge ahead only to have the Impact surge back, a beautiful header by Kamara, a stunning goal by Piati, Kamara and Higuain openly argue on the pitch over a PK with a truce brokered by Drogba, then Kamara rip his 10 Higuain to shreds post match: "We have no relationship, on or off the pitch."
Portland@Vancouver
The roof was rolled up for this one at BC Place.
New York Red Bulls@Orlando City
The centerpiece of what makes NYRB go, McCarty-Kljestan-Wright Philips, has begun to click but the backline defense is still a problem, with Robles doing all he can to minimize the damage.
New England@LA Galaxy
Dos Santos pounces with a laser, Keane returns with authority, and Gerrard continues to be the anti-Lampard by fighting with all that he has for the Galaxy while Rowe has a brilliant strike and Agudelo rampages with force for the Revolution.
New York City@DC United
McNamara and Shelton stepping up to help Villa.
Here is your table.

I was that SKC@Houston match. Houston went with the attacking lineup (they can and will score goals with this lineup), but SKC hardly threatened goal at all. Dom Dwyer was pretty awful and his most notable showing was flopping half a dozen times.
Not sure what's wrong with their offense to not be able to score against the Dynamo.

They are out of sync no doubt and it looks to be simply a lack of execution. I have to think that this is just a slump and they will return to their typical form but there is definitely cause for concern.

Sounders still trying to find their footing as a unit.
Friberg being back in the midfield really drives things.
NYCFC is fun to watch. Toronto FC looks very legit this year(I know it's still early). Their defense has been strengthened since last year and their attack is one of the best in the league w/ Giovinco.
Galaxy are stacked too.
I love MLS.
Ps. What the frick is going on in Columbus...

Yea it is a long season but right now it is showing signs of a Galaxy/Toronto endgame. Toronto had the worst defense in the league last season and went to work to rectify those shortcomings. Beitashour, Johnson, and Irwin were all good additions to the squad.
I never tire of watching Villa. I have been a fan for a while. I love McNamara's hustle.
There are two roosters in the yard at Columbus. Berhalter will have his managerial skills tested greatly this season.

Toronto and LA both look good but I think this year might be the galaxy's to lose. Not all that impressed with NYCFC. Dos Santos has been playing lights out though and Lletget has been impressive as well, from the games I've seen. That short African dude (boateng?) was a great pick up too. Ashley Cole has been surprisingly good.

Not a bad performance from the Quakes at all. Had more touches in the final half and final third than Seattle. Dawkins hit the post with a free kick and Wondo missed a sitter and a PK that should have put us up 2-1.
For Seattled, Dempsey looks good in an advanced midfield role and Morris is adjusting well.

So Kamara is now suspended for the Colorado match and the Crew are now trying to trade him. Stemming from his actions on and off the pitch this past weekend. On the pitch he argued with Higuain about who should take a PK then blasted him in a post match interview. I'm sure Kamara wanted that PK to get his first hat trick but I know he was also bitching about not winning the golden boot last year because he didn't take the PK's for the team. Great player but man what a Diva.

Who scores their goals if that guy leaves?

That is a good question. Higuain is a creator but not a goal scorer and Columbus has been built around the wingers attacking forward and sending crosses in for Kamara to finish. I am guessing that they will play Meram and Finlay as forwards and task them with more of a striker role. Higuain will need to step up his finishing as well while Trapp and Saeid will see their roles increase too. It will require a collective effort.
I am wondering now just how long this tension has been simmering.

Also wanted to mention that the Rapids are reallllly good. Like, I think they can contend for Western Conference pretty easily. Probably the 2nd best team in WC.

I fricking love the player that Jermaine has transformed into since 2013.

It is done: Kamara traded to New England for money and draft picks. I'm not sure where this leaves Charlie Davies.
