Moving there soon, so I will probably keep my eye on them and see if it "takes"

I recently inquired in this thread and the resounding comments were that they were poorly run in recent times..

I am more interested in watching the Galaxy matches once Stevie gets there..

That said, this season looks like a good opportunity for me to try and get into the MLS.. my previous attempt, when Portland joined the league, didn't take

Have to go with SKC until St Louis gets a club.

Really shocking they haven't been able to splash one with the HUGE soccer base here but it should happen soon enough.

Wish Beckham would give the rust belt town a chance instead of Miami lol.

Holding off on picking a team until then, just gonna watch whoever is on TV.

Has anyone seen a TV schedule posted anywhere yet? Wouldn't mind bookmarking that.

You should get the MLS app on your smartphone. It has the schedules and notifications of games if you activate it. Pretty cool.

Thanks. I use the Yahoo scores app and it is really hit or miss on including TV details.

MLS app has all that TV info. Majority of the game are on local network or MLS Live subscription. I used to have the subscription, but I didn't watch enough games to justify $65 a year. I believe Friday nights and Sundays are on cable (ESPN).

Yeah I downloaded it and looked around a bit. Looks like I will have to hunt for some streams if I want to watch before Sunday.

What? The stickied post at the top of the board with the European channels doesn't help you?

MLS TV in a nutshell:

Friday night (EVERY FRICKIN' FRIDAY NIGHT): Messican stations (UniMas or Univision Deportes). If your provider is capable, you can use the SAP button to listen in English. DirecTV is capable. I just listen in Spanish - shockingly "Robbie Keane" or "Clint Dempsey" sounds exactly the same in English and Spanish.

Saturday: Regional TV, maybe for your "local" team (Fox Sports Wherever, ROOT, MSG.... whatever your "local" is) *OR* MLS Live (computer/tablet/phone/Roku/etc.)/MLS Direct Kick (through your provider) for EVERY game.

Sunday (EVERY FRICKIN' SUNDAY): 4 PM CT - ESPN2; 6PM CT - Fox Sports 1; with an occasional game on FS1 at 8:30 PM CT

To add to this, if you have ROOT or Altitude, might be worth checking to see if you can watch even if you're outside of their regional areas. I know that I used to be able to watch Rapids games on Altitude and want to say the same about Timbers games but am not sure.

It seemed spotty, but I've done so in the past. It seemed like I would catch a Crew game from time to time. I think they just forgot to enable the blackout.

If you need more MLS than Friday night and the Sunday doubleheader, it's really (and I mean REALLY) tough to beat $65 for MLS Live, especially if you already have a Roku. Unsure what other devices you can use.

I just pulled the trigger. That's an incredible deal.

They have an Apple TV app (versus pushing it to the Apple TV from your iPad/etc.). Should be able to figure it out for virtually anything else

I noticed the MLS app on my Apple TV, do you have to pay for a subscription to use it? My parents have DirecTV and have literally every channel and I've always just used their logins for whatever I need and was wondering if that would work the same way.
