if he's loaned out, hopefully it's to championship contender, or to Holland.

Sitting on the bench at his age, does nothing for him.

getting valuable time at CB for a Middlesborough, Sheffield Wednesday, etc would be very valuable.

Not saying I think he'll play - at least not yet - but Chelsea did miss out on Stones (twice), so maybe they see some sort of future at the club with this kid. I sure do hope so. We need to take advantage of our inordinate amount of loanees we have

Take it as you will, but this is straight from the daily mail....

The club who will sign him have had to give assurances that he will have a chance of a first-team breakthrough. He will not be shipped out on loan.

Holland.

Not known for the best defenses there

However, Chelsea has a tight relationship with Vitesse and we send 2-3 players there annually.

Kenedy and RLC can't get in the team. And both of those guys are much more promising than Miazga.

I don't understand why he would want to go to such a terrible club. Plus, they will never play him and his development could stagnate as he is placed on the farthest rear burner.

I think this is a really bad move for him.

They already have six centerbacks out on loan. I'm really not a fan of this move.

– Tomáš Kalas (22): Centreback – Middlesbrough (on loan from Chelsea).
– Andreas Christensen (19): Centreback – Borussia Mönchengladbach (on loan from Chelsea).
– Michael Hector (23): Centreback – Reading (on loan from Chelsea)
– Nathan Aké (20): Centreback (some defensive midfield)- Watford (on loan from Chelsea)
– Kenneth Omeruo (22): Centreback – Kasimpasa (Turkey) (on loan from Chelsea)
– Papy Djilobodji (27):

papy is gone.

ake is playing full back at watford, Kalas prob doesnt have a future, christensen is on a 2 year loan, and i have no idea what to think of Hector or Omeruo.

honestly, Miazga has as solid a chance as any of those to get 1st team mins eventually.

if one of Zouma/Terry/Cahill get hurt this year, Miazga would be the only natural CB on the roster, taking Papys place.

I am skeptical.

I think the next year and a half will be wasted for him. I see him doing nothing but training for that time then perhaps being loaned somewhere in 2017.

But we shall see.
