That would work, too. I am obviously fine with either.

Early quotes from Jose indicated that he sees Miki as a number 10, which is where he plays for Armenia and where he played for Shakhtar before moving to Dortmund. Of course under that scenario there's no obvious role for Wayne.

Rashford spent a lot of time at RW in the youth set up. Plug him in there, and Utd are trotting out an absurd amount of athleticism along the front line.

I hate that Jose doesn't see Rooney as a midfielder, because I really believe that it makes a ton of sense at this point.

So is Rooney still a starter at this point? If Jose only sees him as a striker how does he see the field? And chance of a 442 with Zlatan?

Who knows? A lot of people seem to be asking the same question.

I think he is at his best as the 10... but, to your point, that position is kind of overloaded now... if they want to play all of their big names..

I really do wonder if Jose's arrival is going to force a Rooney departure in the coming years. I don't see him taking major minutes from Zlatan, and I don't see Jose running a 4-4-2. So either he's gotta play midfield, or he's gonna be in a tough spot.

I wish arsenal had gotten Zlatan but damn am I glad to see him playing in the Premier league. This year is going to be very, very entertaining.

Squad for the Chiner tour

Schweini, Darmian, Martial, Schneiderlin, Fellaini, and Zlatan all getting extended break after Euros. English contingent will travel but won't play.

Hames Wilson misses out after Mou apparently was not impressed by him in training or at Wigan. I'm sure that signals his loan or sale soon. CBJ has some sort of injury and will also miss out.

We have a huge squad at the moment. Expect quite a few to be moved on after the tour, especially since we're going to add another midfielder.

We have exactly zero strikers right now so I would take anything at the moment

That's good news. Hopefully he can have a strong season on loan this time around.

So I didn't get Community Shield tickets bc all a member could apply for was one per each account and there is four of us going and they don't have memberships.

Such bullshite in a stadium that holds 80k. Each team only got just less than 28k tickets. We got more for the FA Cup semi.
