Sakho isnt guaranteed a starting place in this club... He isnt going to unseat Agger and is not really a RCB. He may be asked to play there going forward, but he'll have to earn it past Toure and Skrtel who have combined for 3 clean sheets so far..

I get what you are saying bud, I just meant it as I am extremely happy in Brendan's scouting and also I'll be so much happier when were are in such a position that we aren't losing on players like that as often.

Yes of course I'm not happy he didn't choose us but I do understand why.

I don't think you have any idea how big Dortmund is or how dumb you're sounding.

I think joining a club with two bundesliga titles and a champions league final in the last 3 years is joining something special.

Really? And joining the rebuilding of a club that has 5 Champions League trophies and 18 league titles isn't? Dortmund were one of the most ill managed clubs in Germany till recently. They were loaned money by Bayern in 2002 to pay wages for a couple of months, they almost got relegated in 2007. Three good seasons and they are shi***** gold? No sir. If I were a footballer the only teams I would think about turning Liverpool down for would be United, Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona, Inter and Milan. A few years back when we ere in financial misery I could've possibly seen your point of view.

Dortmund is a much more prestigious destination for young talent than Liverpool right now. The fact that you can't see that means you're blinded by your fandom. I don't even like Dortmund, their fans are annoying. However, I can recognize a great club.

You think the guy who hasn't been alive for a Liverpool league title is going to be star struck by past championships?

Liverpool may still be a year away from even qualifying for the Champions League - Dortmund was in the final last year and barely lost to an all time great team.

Dortmund's past transgressions have nothing to do with the present. We could bring up Liverpool splashing cash on Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing if you want.

Dortmund has shown an incredible sense for building and rebuilding a squad under Klopo, Watzke, etc. Lose Barrios? Lewandowski. Lose Sahin? Gundogan. Lose Kagawa? Reus. Lose Götze? Mkhitaryan. Plus they added Aubameyang who looks incredible.

I like Liverpool and the direction they're heading under BR, so this is disappointing that I even have to make this argument but come on man. Be realistic.

The fact of the matter is to everyone else but Liverpool fans, Dortmund is in a better position.

That may change in the near future, but as of right now it's just how it is.

ETA: That's not even a dig at Liverpool. Liverpool are obviously good and talented and on the way up. shite we just lost to y'all so there isn't much to say from my end. But for a young attacking player, Dortmund is more attractive right now.

Most Liverpool fans agree with this.

Sakho doesn't have a starting spot which worries me. He needs to be worked into the squad.

Either a 3-5-2

Kolo-Sakho-Agger

Johnson-Lucas-Gerrard-Enrique/Cissokho

or

Johnson-Kolo-Sakho-Agger

or

Sakho at DM in a 4-3-3

You're being blinded by your love for all things German. I never said Dortmund was shite, I actually really enjoy watching them play. I'm saying he had an opportunity to play for Liverpool and turned it down. In my mind he's not only not us now, he's the douche that spurned us. I understand why he chose them, but that doesn't mean I have to be nice about him on the internet. So yea, I'm a baby and all that shite. HM can still kiss my arse.

Hendo. I understand where you are coming from but I guess you aren't seeing my point. I don't hold anything against MickeyArmenian for picking BVB over us. Its his choice. They are in the Champs League we aren't and so on. But I think "greatness" is bandied too easily these days. BVB is a good club but not a great one. Bayern is a great club. Just like Dortmund's past transgressions have nothing to do with the present so should Liverpool's last 5 years. That was an anomaly forced on us by a couple of first grade twa*s.
He picked BVB because they are in the Champs league but to say that he picked BVB because it is a great club would be overstating it. Oh well, I guess we will agree to disagree.

Also I don't think Klopp has constantly rebuilt the BVB team he has replaced players. Rebuilding would be what Matt Busby did after Munich, what Shankly did with his first and second great Liverpool teams, or what Fergie did with his first great United team. rebuilding would be when you make wholesale changes to the squad and come up with one that looks nothing like the one you started with.

Aubameyang well thrive at BVB. Dunno why no one else went for him. Him, Adam Maher and Bruma I felt went for below their worth in the transfer market.

i didn't realize it was such a quick turnaround, especially with a name on the back. i think i ordered it monday around 6 p.m., so that would be midnight their time. i just expected it sometime next week, and was pleasantly surprised. hooray for me!

Well, while you're singing their praises I'll take a minute to show you the opposite side of the spectrum. When you go in to order a shirt for this season, they have a note that states that due to the athletic cut of the shirts this year they recommend you order a size larger than you would normally wear. Beast and I took their advice and when we received our shirts they were both entirely too large. At the time they were offering a free t-shirt which they automatically sent in the same size as whatever home or away shirt was ordered. Again, these t-shirts were worthless as they too were massive. I wrote an email to the online store and complained about their bullshite blanket sizing advice. Their response basically amounted to, "It was just our advice, you shouldn't have listened to us." They offered for me to pay to send the shirts back to them so that they could send the size I would've originally ordered had they not recommended otherwise. I have been a long time proponent of ordering directly from the club so that they receive the maximum profits from my purchase. However, I will never again order from their site and I will actively encourage other fans to seek better deals elsewhere. I'll always love the club, but their customer service is embarrassing.
