Gerrard is 4th in the league with 21. Suarez is 8th with 18.

Joe Allen is first in the league with 60 possessions won.

Suarez has converted only 16% of his shots. Very very poor for a top CF.

Tony Barret tweeted that Borini broke a bone in his foot training for Italy.

quote:

@TonyBarretTimes: The Italian FA has informed Liverpool that Fabio Borini has broken a bone in his foot. Their striker shortage has become a crisis.

Yesil scored today..

Oh and I've seen some talk on Twitter today about who takes over as captain once Gerrard retires. Lucas? Agger?

I like both choices... maybe Pepe if he's still around and performing, apparently he's immense in the locker room

I've never been a fan of captains that aren't outfield players. I'm also not a professional athlete, so I don't know the effect a captain has on the rest of the team. I'd give it to Agger since he seems to be the most vocal of the three during a regular match.

Casillas is the captain of both Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.

ETA: Though usually goalkeeping captains are icons of their respective clubs (Schmicheal, Buffon, Kahn, Casillas). I don't see Pepe in the same boat as the ones I mentioned.

very good player, but act quickly bc HSV are trying to lock him up.

he and VDV have been responsible for their recent rise in form, i believe SHM has like 4 goals in their last 5 or 6 matches. he's known for his work ethic, general technical ability that this new crop of azns seem to posses, and his skill with both feet

. any team would do well to have him in their side IMO

he doesnt really have a lot of youtube videos to stalk, but you can get a decent sampling of his abilities there. the bundesliga seems to be an asian haven for all of their young prospects. most of them are quite good

No clue. I do have an awesome pic of Arda Turan along with some quotes.

quote:

"I want to play in major leagues and my dream team is Liverpool"

quote:

"In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them."

A pipe dream, but man, just the thought of Turan in red gets me hard.

Have y'all read the Duncan Jenkins shite yet? Twitter has blown up. I find the story hard to believe, but if true, Chang will be fired in the next 24 hours.
