I was going to go, but then 2 tires blew out, my dog got round worms, tape worms, and fleas, my alternator broke, and my computer's graphics card bit the dust.

I have no money anymore.

According to various twitterers:

Maxi to Newell's Old Boys is going to happen.

Borini has signed for Liverpool for €13M (£10M) fee. Could be finalized "tomorrow".

£9M + Dempsey for Carroll

I wish. Once I realized we weren't all going together, I planned a beach trip.

Beast has been saying it's around 30 mil, but I'm not sure where he got that figure.

Where'd you read that? Not saying I don't believe you, just curious how I missed it.

Don't really remember. Nobody knows for sure though, but that is the speculation number. Wouldn't be surprised if he spent over that though. As long as he feels he is making good deals, I think the owners will oblige. Still, the Sigurdsson saga led me to believe he is acting on a tight budget.

I'm not sure how I feel about that...judging by his comments after Gylfi signed with Spurs, he may have been more pissed that he felt he had given Sigurdsson a chance in England to show what he could do and was willing to bring him to a top club to start and Sigurdsson took the money and ran. IMO it might have been more of a pride thing than a money issue. And the only way I really see us spending more that 30 mil is if we sell off Carroll (or someone else).

I can imagine he was pissed at Sigurdsson. I still think he must not have thought he was worth the money. Good signing, but only at a certain price type thing. In the end, he would have paid what Tottenham was offering if he felt it was right.

Also just got around to watching Suarez's hat trick. That through ball from Ramirez to Suarez was Hopefully we'll see that in red.

70k a week is fricking ludicrous for a player like Gylfi. I would have told him to frick off too.

I haven't heard anything about Ramirez for awhile now. I'm assuming that's pretty much chalked up as a rumor now.

Sigurdsson was about not getting stuck with an untransferable player(due to wages) if he didn't work out like we are with Cole and Aqua, than a tight budget.
