I am aware. It was a way to get a jab in at Newman and Lusher. Ben Franklin, Newman, and Lusher are all solid choices for High School in NOLA, don't think anyone can argue that.

ETA: Just passed Tad Gormley and it was tied 2-2

Lusher wins 3-2, kid who flipped off the Episcopal student sections scores the game winning goal with 1 minute left. LOL

ETA: I'm an EHS guy and this is still hilarious. Congrats to Lusher!

calling them the rejects of Newman which is in fact true

You sound dumb af haha! Dude said Newman rejects, thank god I didn't go to that school. And yea Lusher been a hs for 7 yrs so if Newman doesn't have more "prestigious alumni" their doing pretty rough. State champs tho. Get ur weight up.

The accurate statement would be that Lusher High students are Ben Franklin rejects.

Newman needs to get on our level, first.

Before people get all perturbed, I am a proud Lusher Middle School graduate, and mostly joking.

You went to Franklin, and were a Soccer guy? I might know you, I've played with a few guys in your grade.

Impressive post season run by Lusher. Don't think anyone expected them to take down #1 #2 and #4 seed in the playoffs. Wow.

This is correct. I need to be more careful about what I say. Don't need people finding out who I am.

ETA: where'd you go?

Thanks, glass!

Crazy to think 10 yrs ago boys & girls were both in the championship and won. Time flies!

Ben Franklin does the double! Girls win 2-0, boys win in OT 3-2. Franklin scored with about 30 sec left to tie in regulation and about 5 min left in OT to win. It was an absolutely amazing game. Back and forth until the end.

Approx Scoring Summary (I'll pretend they're 90' games, and that I know what min they scored in)

5' Ben Franklin goal
20' Vandebilt goal
45' Vandebilt PK (handball in the 18)
90'+ Ben Franklin goal
115' Ben Franklin goal

Awesome. So should I'm pulling for King tomorrow for the New Orleans sweep. And a public school sweep which would be unheard of.

My brother is on the Grace King team playing their first state final ever tonight.

Pretty stoked, I'll be in attendance along with thousands of other latinos, supposed to be a rockin atmosphere. Can't wait to see the Irish cap off their Cinderella run with a win!
