I'm rewatching Community. This show was near GOAT comedy status in the first three seasons.

Anyone out there recommend a good Spanish or French team to play career mode with in FIFA? I've done English, German, and Italian in this year's edition and have never been able to stick with a good Spanish or French side.

ETA: These Key Lime Pie Oreos, still.

I always have fun doing a manager mode with Bilbao and following their basque only restrictions.

I only buy players who fit that and only scout youth players from Spain.

ETA: I didn't come up with this, saw someone mention it in the big FIFA thread and I've had fun doing it.

Which system is FIFA best on? I only have an old 360 that I haven't played in ages, looking to upgrade to a ps4 or xbone soon

I actually really, really enjoyed it for a few seasons on the past few games. You can target young talent (RLC, Rashford, Will Hughes, etc) and bring those guys in. Your budget's generally not great, but if you have a team with a solid designated player, you can sell him for a decent fee and acquire 3-4 great young stars and maybe get one or two other guys on loan.

The only problem I had was my team got WAYYYYYYYYYY too good after about 3 seasons and I was winning every game by multiple goals. I had every position 80+ or pushing 80, and the other teams just couldn't keep up.

Lmao sounds about right.

In all three of my manger modes that I have rolling, when I get youth players who aren't in my second/third teams I'll transfer them to FC Dallas. They eventually just become fricking stacked and I'll pluck them away one by one as they became 80+ overalls. It gets to be pretty funny when I look at the table and they're just kicking everyone's arse.

A while back, but I hated the fact you couldn't do the same kind of trades and transfers like MLS has. Football Manager ruined that for me.

The Bilbao idea sounds really cool. I was also thinking about making Malaga a UCL team again despite their tiny (by comparison to what they used to have) budget.

You could also snag a few youth guys from France like Laporte was IRL.
