Last time I was at Barley Oak I asked a bartender if they had anything cool going on for the WC and he said if they were open the games would be on.

With that said they have a decent setup for you to watch. I think the new AO Covington chapter was trying to organize a watch at the tap room in Covington.

My centennial shirt that I have on right now was made in Turkey.

I haven't seen many Turkish fans. Huge US presence (obviously).

Lineup: Howard, Fab, Besler, Cameron, Chandler, Bradley, Jones, Davis, Zusi, Dempsey, Altidore

a) The fullbacks make sense if it's Chandler on the right and Fab at left back

B) hopefully this is just a reward for Davis playing well against Azerbaijan

Granted, it's still early and we'll maybe know more after the third friendly (or maybe we won't), but it's starting to look like the competition is for the FB opposite Fab and LM.

Why does Jurgen not view Fab as a LB all of the sudden?

Also, crazy that they only have two World Cup appearances and one of them was third place in 2002.

Not to mention the quickest goal in WC history. Hakan Sukur scored just 11 seconds into the 3rd place game. LINK

Apparently he played very well at RB Hoffenheim this year. I'd still rather him on the left and Chandler on the right since Chandler does not seem very comfortable at LB.

Don't love it. Prefer the 4-2-3-1. Davis on the left side is not a good feeling. We have options who are better with everything besides their left foot. I want to switch our outside backs.

I think Jurgy believed FJ is the most appropriate to deal with CR7.
