Meh, I'd rather they live in shame in Mexico for the rest of their lives. That's more torturous than instantaneous death in a ravine.

Like someone else said, he still looks a kid playing against grown men. I know he's young, but 20 isn't that young. The goal against Belgium was great and all, but other than that, I don't really see this transcendent talent that we were led to believe he has. It's hard to explain, but I just don't really see it like I do when I watch another young guy like Zelalem. You see flashes of brilliance pretty consistently from him that you don't really see with Green.
And some of the stories that have come out the last year or so kinda lead me to believe he might have some maturity/professionalism issues he needs to work on. I hope he pans out but I've tempered my expectations a bit.

I wrote a long arse post about why he was brought to the WC before it started.
He was not ready even if he scored. Lots of people were ripping everyone saying he should not play and look now, they were 100% wrong.
To play at Bayern yes it is esp with Pep as the coach.
Green was a stand out at the Tolon tourny they just wrapped up. Z dog is good but against his age group playing at club level youth teams looked no better than Green did playing for Bayern II vs grown arse men.
