Yes, these and his other 23 certainly do. It's also highly satisfying to see you exposed for the idiot that you are.

The 20 he scored before the season at Sunderland (one during the season against Jamaica and the other two against Nigeria)?

Damn, you're dumb.

And aren't you the guy who thinks Yedlin's been great for us?

You have no room to talk.

There are very few posters who legitimately make this board worse, and you are one of them.

God, you're one stupid motherfricker: 23 career goals for USMNT, Einstein. Where do you find "lazy" in those numbers?

Your beer-bellied analyis of this player belies more than just statistics IMO. I'll waste no opportunity to remind you of this throughout the WC.

Altidore move to Sunderland has been an almighty flop, his performance for the USA has no bearing on how successful his ove to Sunderland has been.

Deuce, a midfielder, has 37 goals for the USMNT, but is continuously called "lazy" on here. Kris Commons, another midfielder, has scored 50 goals for Celtic. He admits that he is lazy. Goal scoring =/= not lazy

Neither of those players has ever been demoted to their club's youth team for weeks. Jozy has. Neither of them has ever scored only one goal in the league for a season. Jozy has. Neither has ever been completely shut down by a grocer at Sainsburys who plays for Kidderminster. Jozy has.

LINKS?

And don't try to move the cheese on me: You're the only one calling this USMNT player "lazy, afraid of contact, can't hit the broad side of a barn."

You dig yourself a little deeper with each post.

From VKC in the Bradley thread. About 15 in each match thread.

No, most people not on this board are saying that (remember all the whining threads on here about how reddit is mean to Jozy?).

Actually, you've done nothing to counter me at all.

Did Jozy get shut down by a Sainsburys' grocer on Kidderminster, yes or no? Did Jozy get relegated to Sunderland's youth team for a few weeks, yes or no? Did Jozy only score one Premier League goal for Sunderland, yes or no? Did Jozy's last move to England also fail miserably, yes or no?

Third row up at Red Bull arena for the Turkey match. Absolutely no lazy, no fear of contact, no broad side of the barn there. I assume you're not dense enough to apply these terms to his game against Nigeria.

Do a search ETA: From a simple search - LINK

From the reddit thread linked in that thread:

quote:

Oh!!! Who Lives in the Box and Cant Make a Shot... Jozy Altidore! He Jogs Down the Side and Hits his shots Wide... Jozy Altidore! Looks Tall and Athletic but his Strikings Pathetic... Jozy Altidore Jozy ALtidore! Joooooozyyyy Altidore!

quote:

Give me 10 Zinedine Zidane and 1 Jozy Altidore and I'll never win a thing.

Possibly more realistic.

quote:

Jozy Altidore.

Don't even know if he can be considered a player anymore though, he's more like an inanimate object

quote:

Checked back a while after submitting this, all altidore, not remotely surprised! Considering it's so clear cut, who would be second worst then?

This thread (and three more) were made during that match

Jozy looked like absolute shite against Azerbaijan and Turkey. He looked noticeably better against Nigeria, but that could be because their defense is complete shite (they're starting a center-half at fullback, for example. Also, one of his goals was a tap in, the other was terrible goalkeeping).

Read the entire thread: 75% of the posts outright negate your position.

Hmmm. Michael Bradley and his teamates didn't think so.

As seen in the reddit thread and this one, this board (especially cwill and Broski) has the gay for Jozy. They can't admit that an American they are counting on at the World Cup isn't good.

What?! Teammates not saying bad things about their teammates?! I'm shocked!!!

I ask again:

Did Jozy get shut down by a Sainsburys' grocer on Kidderminster, yes or no? Did Jozy get relegated to Sunderland's youth team for a few weeks, yes or no? Did Jozy only score one Premier League goal for Sunderland, yes or no? Did Jozy's last move to England also fail miserably, yes or no?

You've conceded my point. Thank you.

What point? Mine was that Jozy isn't good and most people not on this board agree. Yours was...?

Bolded the key parts for you.

My point was that the vast majority of the posters on the thread(s) you referenced strongly disagreed with the notion that Altidore is a lazy and inept soccer player.

I'm going to go ahead and side with those who know and play professionally with Altidore, as well as what I have personally seen over time. Your opinion is born of bias, theirs are considered and on target.

Just wondering: Were you born a negative a-hole or do you have to work at it on a daily basis?

I posted that thread to show that there were people who disagreed with you who watched that match. Point: TN Bhoy

What part of teammate doesn't say bias?

Go back and count the negative posts and those that argue the opposite. Be sure and check your math!

Once again, that was to show that not everyone agreed with you. If you looked for the reddit thread on that match, I'm sure it's much different re: Jozy than this board's pathetic love of him.

You are quite hopelessly miserable. Or is it miserably hopeless? You decide.
